Survival update incoming 🛩️ 
Come wonder the eerie halls of Castle Weinrot, home to a dying group of royals, their dwindling number of servants, and the merchants who wander the cellars and crypts beneath the castle. 

What's New
In addition to the beautiful spawn constructed by our talented in-house build team below are the gameplay changes coming to survival in this update:

  • New tags plugin; you will all be able to unlock a plethora of tags via purchasing them on our store (coming soon™ ), through special events, and through quests that will be scattered around the server.
  • The Weinrot quest; search the halls, gardens, and cellars of Castle Weinrot to discover the lost ruby skulls of the Weinrot dynasty! 💀
  • An advanced container and access protection system that allows you to protect your goodies from any random thieves and your average pesky team member. 🔒
  • New custom terrain generation! Come explore our new world, from the breezy seas to the mountains that pierce the  sky. This terrain features tons of new biomes and structures for you to raid and explore! Due to new terrain generation a full reset has taken place.
  • You'll find some NPCs scattered around Castle Weinrot gearing up to sell you that random block you need to finish your build or give you information on Survival's various features. All coming soon! 🎉
  • Various warps have been introduced via the /warp command so you can find your away around Castle Weinrot faster and easier! 🚄
  • Mob stacking to keep those frames a frame-ing... well... that doesn't sound right- Anywho, mob stacking is being put in place in order to reduce a large amount of lag caused by excess mob entities.

This update has opened a lot of doors to features we could add and we'd love to hear what you'd like added to Survival through ⁠📫|suggestions!

Internal:

Additions:

* cesarcalad completed their Java training and is now on his way to become a Void Realms Certified Java Developer 😉
* Updated our documentation to include existing Geyser extensions on our Proxy server.
* Added Multiverse Core documentation for our Build Team.

Global:

Additions:

* Hardened our operating system to protect ourselves against attacks from outsiders.
* Improved our join and quit messages to better fit the Void Realms vibe.
* Implemented a scoreboard to show some statistics about you and the server.
* Updated all of our back-end servers to the newest stable Paper version.
* Updated our anti-cheat on all of the back-end servers.
* Cleaned up our permission setup to sync it with our documentation.

Removals:

* Removed the system where moderation staff members and up got vanished on join.

Proxy:

* Increased max. memory usage of the production Proxy to 4096 MiB to accomodate the existing plugins.

Survival:

Additions:

* Gave builders access to the /gamerule, /time and /weather commands on the build server.
* Resolved an issue with builders no longer being able to execute large manipulations with build tools.
* Increased max. memory usage for the build server to 16.384 MiB.

Internal

+ Updated our server setup documentation to reflect the latest changes. [Luka]
+ Installed a tool for internal use to track player analytics. [Luka]

Website

+ Migrated our single page landing page application to a full-fledged forum installation. [Luka]
+ Configured a direct link to our Minecraft server to receive it's status on the website. [Luka]
+ Installed the rules module and inserted the general rules. [Luka, ploofy]

Global

+ Set up a connection on each server to communicate with our player analytics dashboard. [Luka]
+ Updated all of our server software and plugins to have the current latest versions. [Luka]
+ Synced our mock network with the production network. [Luka]

Survival

+ Installed and configured a Graves plugin which will take care of your items when you die, suggested by Oaketree_ aka Kyle. [cesarcalad]

I can hardly believe it myself, but we've finally replaced our simple landing page with a full-fledged forum website. How awesome is that?

After a long period of uncertainty among the staff team and players, this is yet another way to show to you that Void Realms is here to stay.
