Here you'll learn how to register on our site (www.voidrealms.org) so you can make suggestions and talk on our forums!

Getting Started

To get started with our incredibly easy registering system you first need to visit our website! Just go to www.voidrealms.org and you'll be directed to our home page. Then if you look towards the top right of the site you'll find a button with the words "Register" imprinted on it. Click that and you'll find yourself on our registering page.
The process is fairly simple. For your nickname you can put any name you want to be known by, so if you want to be known as "SamuraiJack" go for it! However it's recommended to use a name at least similar to your minecraft username so it's easier to recognize you. Next you'll need to put your minecraft username (CASE SENSITIVE!!! Be sure to put it exactly how you would in say a voting website) so that our website can recognize you and give you your proper ranks and such (I.E. if you have Enchanter it will show up on the forums!). Finally put an email address (Put a proper one as you'll need that to verify later!) and then a secure password you'll use to sign in to your account from anywhere.
Once you set that up you'll need to agree to the terms and conditions and complete the captcha (Don't worry it's just a simple click the checkbox). You'll be sent an email to the email address you registered with, you'll need to find that email and click the link provided to sign up. Once you've done that congratulations you are all signed up and can login to your account to use our website at any time!

Benefits of Signing Up

Now that you're signed up... what do you do? You can do a lot you couldn't previously! Like sign up to become staff or make suggestions on our forums or even just using the forums (I.E. Introducing yourself or talking to others about some cool new thing you got on voidrealms).

You can also make bug reports or report players for abusing bugs or hacking as seen in the image to the right! (Note that although using the discord support system is faster, the website still has its benefits incase for example you get banned from discord and you still need open reports for issues. (On another note, you can also get banned from the website so don't do anything dumb there either otherwise you won't have anywhere to make reports))
No matter what you choose to do, now you have an account to do it!

Do you think that your punishment was unfair? Make an appeal for another chance!

What is an appeal and when would I use it?

An appeal is a way to reverse/remove a previous punishment/decision of a staff member. For example if you believe you were wrongfully punished. If you believe you were wrongfully punished you would open an appeal and fill out the requirements. From there Admin+ would decide if the punishment was fair or unfair.

Where can I create one?

You need to already have an account on the website. Signing Up On Our Site (click the link to learn how to set up your account for our website). After you sign up head over to voidrealms.org/appeal continue to fill out the information required, submit, and await an admin's response. Appeals are processed when an Admin+ has time. Do not dm or @mention staff members asking when your appeal will be looked at.

Want to do something for the server? Read this to learn the different categories!

How to apply?

To apply you need to have an account on our website. Signing Up On Our Site (click the link to learn how to sign up for our site.) Read the lower categories to learn about our different roles! Then you would just click on one of those links or go to voidrealms.org/apply .

Staff Application

Being on the Moderation team for Void Realms allows you to assist players more than you would be able to as a player. You make sure players are following the rules, and interact with the community. However the job comes with some responsibilities and some expectations. Such as being dedicated to staff duties, your activity, and the maturity level (while still having some fun !).

Dev Application

Want to create custom aspects for the server and work closely with other developers, admins, and the server owner, Skizzles? Join as a Developer. Even if you are an entry level developer our SrDevs help give insight on specific aspects of coding to create something great for the server!

Builder Application

Wanna be a Builder? We're always accepting applications, so come head on over! We help build all the spawns, warps, hub, and more for everyone to enjoy and use!

Event Coordinator Application

Want to help plan those fun events you may have been participating in? As an Event Coordinator you can bring new ideas for events, movie nights, work alongside management to plan events, etc. As long as you can work well with others & you’re creative you can be an Event Coordinator!

Wiki Editor

Wiki Editor allows you to work with other members of the editing team to create amazing guides to post on our wiki. As long as you've got good grammar, decent knowledge on at least one of our game modes and are willing to work with others you can become a wiki editor!

Media Application

Want to stream on the server and have your streams posted in the media channel for others to see? Apply for Media! Media artists direct videos, stream on the server & more! We just ask you to have at least 500 followers and to already have 1 video posted. After that we require 1 video/stream per week :)

Linking Your Discord & Minecraft

Before you can even begin to chat on minecraft through discord you first need to link your minecraft and discord accounts. You also get bonuses for doing this so I'd do it as soon as you can! If you're not sure on how to do it visit our How to Link guide!

Navigation

Before you can chat with other players you need to choose the server you want to talk on and navigate your way to it. You can find all the channel underneath the category "Chat Sync". Each channel is named after the server you will be talking to. So if you want to talk to players on Towny go to #towny and simply type a message there.

Things to Note:

  • Our chat rules for minecraft still apply there. You may be on discord but you're talking on minecraft where players who are too young to use discord may be playing
  • If your message is too long it will cut off. If it does cut off the bot will add two reactions beneath your message to let you know it cut off. Try to keep your messages somewhat short.
  • Color codes used on discord will not apply in the minecraft chat & you won't see it on the discord
  • Formatting code used on discord will not translate to the minecraft. So if you do Hello everyone it will show up as italics for you but everyone on minecraft will see "*Hello everyone*"
  • Emojis don't translate to minecraft
Now go and use your new found knowledge and talk to the community whether it be on discord or minecraft!

Disabling @everyone and @here & More:

Before we get into controlling more specific aspects of the server. The very first thing we'll talk about is how to to control your notifications of the entire server all at once.

Find the server you want to edit the notifications for (In this case I'll be editing voidrealms) then right-click (for pc) or tap and hold (mobile devices) the server icon. You'll see a list of options, you'll want to click/tap "Notification Settings". You should see a menu similar to below. Now all you need to do is turn on "Suppress @everyone and @here" and you will never be pinged for those again! Note at the bottom you can select specific channels where you will still get pinged by @everyone and @here
Now we'll talk about the other options available.
  • All Messages
  • Only @mentions
  • Nothing
These settings refer to if you'll get a notification for those types of messages. For example on desktop if you have it set to only @mentions, anytime someone pings you or a role you own it will pop up the usual notification with the message you were pinged by. However all other messages will not pop up. This is generally the preferred setting as it can get messy in bigger servers if you have all messages on. Finally of course "Nothing" means you will not get any notifications for the server at all.
Do not be worried to mess with these settings as you will still get the white dot beside the server icon no matter which of those three you choose. They just won't notify you of it (Meaning no mobile notifications or/that annoying box that pops up on PC).

Suppress All Role @mention

This refers to when someone pings a role you have. For example let's say you have a role "Sorcerer". If someone does @sorcerer you will be pinged. However if you supress it then you will no longer be pinged for it. The message will still show up in yellow in the chat however. This setting allows you to keep @mentions only on but not get pinged for when someone pings your role.

Mobile Push Notifications

If you have a phone connected to your discord then having this setting on means you'll see notifications pop up on your phone for this channel. These notifications will only be sent based on your settings above

Example of mobile push notification

Muting

Finally you can just go to the very top and mute the server. Discord has some timed options so if you just want to mute the server while you sleep you can choose something like mute for 8 hours. If the timed options don't fit your needs you can mute it until you turn it back on then turn it back on when you're ready. Keep in mind if you mute the server no notifications will go through except pings and you will not see the white dot beside the server icon.

Another way to mute servers

Personal Notification Settings

You might think I should of put this first. I didn't because most users would come looking for how to mute the constant pings from all our updates to the server.

Anyway here you'll find out how to edit your own personal notification settings! These differ from server notifications as they affect your entire discord not just per server. For this guide I will only be going over the PC notifications settings as the mobile ones differ and should be fairly easy to figure out.
In the image above you will find several options for notifications. Read below to find out more on the various options.

Desktop Notifications

Desktop notifications are the boxes that pop up on your screen when you're not focused on discord. If you hate those pop-ups I highly recommend shutting it off.

Enable Unread Message Badge

This is the red dot and number you'll see on the discord app in your taskbar. This is useful if you have desktop notifications off and your sound off.

Push Notification Inactive Timeout

This looks for when you stop chatting on discord. After so long it will start sending notifications to your phone based on the time you select in this setting. This is to avoid constant notifications if you're actively chatting on discord as the notification will just get instantly deleted since you're reading it anyway.

Text-To-Speech Notifications

Turning this on will have your discord speak to you anytime a notification pops up. It's honestly very annoying but I can see it uses.

Sounds

And finally you have sounds. These are well .. sounds. You hear them depending on the actions listed below. If you hate a particular sound on discord you can most likely find it in the sounds section of your notifications and turn them off! Useful right?

Channel/Category Notifications

Finally it's time to go over more specific notifications. These notifications will allow you to keep a server unmuted but mute specific channels you don't read/gets too many messages. I highly recommend reading this as many users don't properly set-up their notifications so if they make a ticket asking for support, they don't realize we've answered their ticket.

Category Notifications

If you view the top image to the right you'll see the category notifications. All in all there's not much to see other than being able to mute it. This is very helpful however if you only want a specific section of the server unmuted (Like tickets). If you mute the category every channel under it will no longer send a notification or show the unread badge on the server. However if the channels themselves are unmuted they will still show up the unread badge which is nice.

Channel Notifications

These are much more specific and allow you the most precise control over your notifications. As you can see from the image on the right we still have the mute option, however now you can control which channels will send you notifications for all message or just pings. You can also of course set it to use server default meaning whatever settings you have setup for the server will be how the notifications for that channel behave. If you mute a channel it will go dark grey and you will no longer see the unread badge beside it. This is useful if you plan on never reading those channels ever as you won't have to keep marking them as read whenever a new message gets sent there.

I suggest using a combination of Category Notifications/Channel Notifications in order to better adjust your notifications and increase your enjoyment of the server!

Step 1: Log In

In order to link your account you first need to login to the server. So launch your minecraft up and find voidrealms in your server list!
Incase you forgot the server IP: play.voidrealms.org

Step 2: Using a Command

Now that you're logged into the server simply either stay in hub or choose a server of your choice. Then run the command /discord link and you'll get a message in chat like in the image below. The code recieved will not be the same as the code shown in the image below! Make sure to type in the correct code when you recieve it in chat.

Step 3: Messaging a Bot

Now you have a code you need to DM one of our bots on discord. To do so, go to #🔗| linking and click on one of the bots pinged there. It does not matter which of the bots you choose to dm the code to, so just go into their dms and send them the code from Step 2!

Things to Note:

  • Don't send any messages to the bot other than your code. It will unlink you and you will have to link again.
  • You get a member rank upon linking which you can do /kit member on every server for 2 common keys and 1 uncommon key which is redeemable every 24 hours.
  • The member rank you get from linking is yellow and will show up as a tag ingame and make your name yellow on discord if you have no donor ranks or a staff rank.
  • Linking up means you'll be able to chat to minecraft through discord. Check out Chat Sync for more information!

Getting Started

Before you can start playing with the bot you need to know and understand what a prefix is. A prefix is a symbol that goes before a command in order to prompt the bot to do something. In voidrealm's case the prefix for idle miner is . You would simply put the . before any command and the bot will try to do the command. The first command I recommend checking out is .help where you can get a lot of information on the various commands idle miner has. You can also check out the image to the right where you'll see the help menu from the bot.

Playing

Now that you know how to prompt the bot, it's time to learn how to play. There are a few things to know first: 1. You have a backpack and a pickaxe. The backpack holds x amount of items which you can sell for money. The pickaxe mines items and places them in your backpack automatically over time. This means you need to check back often to sell your items before your backpack fills or you lose out on items you could of gotten 2. Using money you upgrade your backpack and pickaxe. Upgrading the backpack you can hold more items meaning you can afk for longer. Upgrading your pickaxe means you mine faster meaning you can sell more often and will make more money in the same amount of time as before you upgraded your pickaxe. Upgrading these two things is the most important part of the game 3. There is a "max" level of 200 each to upgrading your backpack and pickaxe, once you have achieved this max level you can rebirth. Rebirthing is the 2nd most important part of feature of the game as you cannot progress without it. Once you have gotten so many rebirths you can then restart for prestiges which is where the real game starts

Okay, enough about explaining the features of the game... how do I actually use this bot? You have a few important commands:

  • .backpack - Allows you to see how full your backpack is
  • .upgrade - Allows you to spend money to upgrade your backpack/pickaxe (.upgrade backpack amount | .upgrade pickaxe amount)
  • .sell - sells everything in your backpack for money
  • .pickaxe - views the stats of your pickaxe (how fast you mine etc)
Using these commands you now know the very basics to using the bot.

Minigames

Despite being minigames these are very important to your progression. There are currently 3 minigames at the time of writing this, hunting, fishing and quizzes. You can do each minigame every 5 minutes. Below will be a more detailed explanation of each minigame.

Hunting

Hunting is the most important minigame you can do. Everytime you use the hunt command (.hunt) you will go out looking for a random mob to make your pet. Pets give you very important boosts such as increased mining speed, sell bonuses, increased backpack capacity and some even have special abilities. Even if you don't use the other 2 minigames at least be sure to do this minigame as often as possible or else you will progress very slowly.

Fishing

Fishing isn't as important but it does give you a nice boost. Every time you fish you have a chance to obtain treasure, this can be shards which are used to upgrade your pets or crates which can give you boosters to help speed up the game. Everytime you fish you gain 1 exp which is used towards levelling up. When you level up the chance to get treasure is increased. Currently the max level is very low however the developer of the bot is planning a fishing overhaul later on. Use the command .fish to get started.

Quizzes

Quizzes are trivia questions about the game Minecraft. Answer them sucessfully and you get a free crate you can open for boosters. That's pretty much all there is to quizzes, you don't lose anything if you get it wrong except you have to wait 5 minutes for another chance to get a free crate. Use the command .quiz to get start.

Pets

A very important part of the game. Without pets progress would be very slow and would likely take you days to rebirth in later stages of the game. There are different rarities of pets and each rarity gives a different type of boost. You can also upgrade these pets to increase their boost. The upgrade cost never goes up it is a set amount for each rarity. To the right you will see an image with all the possible pets and each rarity. You can also use .pets help to view this menu on discord.

Common

Pets of this rarity will increase backpack space. Along with uncommon these are going to be one of the pets you want to upgrade the most.

Uncommon

Pets of this rarity will increase mining speed. These are the pets you should upgrade the most.

Rare

Pets of this rarity will increase sell price. It is okay to upgrade these but don't spend too much shards on them

Epic

Pets of this rarity will increase the effectiveness of other pets. These are also okay to upgrade but spend even less on these than you would on rare.

Mythical

These pets decrease the total cost of upgrading backpack/pickaxe and pets. Do not spend any shards on these

Legendary

The rarest type of pets. These have special abilities you can activate every 5 minutes like x2 sell price for a short time or x2 mining speed for a short time. Again do not spend any shards on these.

Crates/Boosters

There are tons of crates you can redeem such as an hourly crate, daily crate etc. These will give you various boosters that you can use to boost the game. Feel free to use the smaller boosters any time but it's recommended to use the big boosters during global boosts. Global boosts are bought with irl money by someone and gives everyone a boost to their game for a limited time. They stack with personal boosters so saving up your big boosts can really speed you up during these times. Use the .booster command to view your boosters.

Rebirthing

Once you finally reach level 200 in both your backpack and your pickaxe you can rebirth! Every rebirth gives you a small buff in sell price and every 3 rebirths you go to a new "mine" which has new blocks. Unfortunately you lose all your money and your backpack/pickaxe upgrades upon rebirthing. However you keep all your boosters/crates/pets and shards.

Guilds

You can create or join a guild in which you can gather 10 members total! The total amount of rebirths between all players in the guild will give you a higher sell bonus. The max sell bonus you get from a guild goes up with prestiging which will be explained better later on. In a guild you can tackle on guild bosses which lose hp as you rebirth. You can get a reward from the boss such as a guild crate or a decent amount of shards!

Prestiging

The most important feature in the game: Prestiging. Once you prestige for the first time that is where the real game starts. Upon prestiging you lose everything, pets, shards, boosters, crates (Excluding guild crates and vote crates) and more ... all to gain a new currency. This currency is used in the prestige shop to buy various upgrades to boost yourself up making prestiging faster and faster each time. You also get a couple other things when you prestige but I'll let you discover that on your own - can't spoil everything now can we?

Gaining Exp

Before you can actually level up you must first gain exp. This is extremely simple just simply go to any other channel and type something and you'll gain exp. But wait! Before you go start typing up a storm the bot is on a cooldown. It won't give you exp for every message to prevent spamming. Also something to keep in mind is the length of your message, you won't gain any exp for posting longer messages so don't try to type up long walls just to get a ton of exp at once ;) It simply awards you a set range of exp every minute for sending a message.

Keep in mind sending random messages in chat that make sense at all can get you in trouble so steer away from that. Try to start up a conversation if you're looking to gain exp!

Leveling Up

Now we can get to the fun part! Once you gain enough exp you'll level up to the next level. "But wait... I still have the role 'Level 1'?" Roles don't update every level, instead they update every 5 levels. We will discuss that more later. In order to see the exp you need to achieve the next level you can go to the #bot-commands channel and simply use the !rank command. You'll see a message from the bot like the image on the right. Underneath "Experience" you'll find how much you have and how much you need to level up.

Ranking Up

Beyond just levelling up, you can also "rank up" which means you'll rank a higher place in the server in terms of who has the most experience. You can view a whole list of people, how much they messaged, how much experience they have and their level by going to the leaderboard! Simply use the leaderboard command (/leveltop).

Level Roles

As mentioned before, as you level up you'll unlock new roles. These don't really do anything except to flex and later on the roles have colors so you can get a cool colored name. Below will be listed every role you can get!

List of Roles:

  • Level 1 - Newbie
  • Level 5 - Beginner
  • Level 10 - Apprentice
  • Level 15 - Intermediate
  • Level 20 - Advanced
  • Level 25 - Novice Vortex Mage*
  • Level 30 - Advanced Vortex Mage
  • Level 35 - Master Vortex Mage
  • Level 40 - Novice Abyssal Mage
  • Level 45 - Advanced Abyssal Mage
  • Level 50 - Master Abyssal Mage
  • Level 55 - Novice Diviner
  • Level 60 - Advanced Diviner
  • Level 65 - Master Diviner
  • Level 70 - Novice Novamancer
  • Level 75 - Advanced Novamancer
  • Level 80 - Master Novamancer
  • Level 85 - Novice Voidmancer
  • Level 90 - Advanced Voidmancer
  • Level 95 - Master Voidmancer
  • Level 100 - Realm Master
*Novice Vortex Mage is the very first colored role. From then on the roles will continue changing colors, with advanced and master being "darker" versions of novice and each novice changing to a totally different color.

Have you ever wanted to create a suggestion to see a change for the server/discord but never knew how to? Keep reading to understand how to do this exact thing! Before creating a post make sure you are in the Void Realms discord! (https://discord.com/invite/voidrealms)

Where is the suggestions forum?

Under the community tab of the VR discord you will be able to see a forum labeled “📫┃Suggestions”. In this forum you will be able to create, vote, and give your opinion on previous and current suggestions players have sent! The channel is always being reviewed by staff to make sure the set rules are followed and no one is trolling or sending hate posts there.

Tags/Guidelines

The channel has many tags along with certain tags the staff use to let others know if the suggestion has been either Denied, Accepted, Coding Required (for the developers to see) or Implemented. Players who create a suggestion will be able to label their own suggestion based on the category it falls upon!

Remember the title of your post should be a short summary of the suggestion you are proposing! The post itself should be your suggestion along with an in detail explanation on your suggestion. Make sure to put tags upon your suggestion post so players can understand where you want your suggestion of change/addition to be! If there are multiple places you want your suggestion to be, put all the tags that apply to your suggestion!!

Tag Examples:

Discord - discord related suggestions (“I would like to see [suggestion] on the discord. [along with a description of your suggestion in detail].”) Network - all gamemode related suggestions (“I think [suggestion] would be great to see on [all or select game modes]. [a description of your suggestion in detail]”)

Or
Towny, Creative - “[suggestion] would be great to be seen on these game modes. [a description of your suggestion in detail]”

Rules to follow when a suggestion:

  • All standard chat rules apply. If you do not remember the chat rules, click here to refresh your mind upon them. ( https://voidrealms.org/rules/ )
  • Do not argue in these posts otherwise a member of staff will time you out.
  • Inappropriate posts or otherwise hateful posts will be removed.
  • Keep any suggestion posts on topic!

How to make a Suggestion!

🟦 Write a title!
🟨 Write your suggestion here, be sure to be as descriptive as you can!

Custom Emojis

Looking for a certain emoji on the server but you're just not seeing it? Well you can suggest the server to add it OR if you nitro boost we will add a custom emoji of your choice. You get a custom emoji for every nitro boost to the server! So if you boost 5 times you get 5 emojis added to the server. Just open a general support ticket (If you're not sure how check out our Using #Support!), supply us with the image you want to be an emoji and tell us what name you want it to have. Keep in mind the image has to be under 256 mb in size to be used as an emoji.

Kit

For boosting you get access to /kit booster. You can claim it once a month & you receive 3 Uncommon keys & 2 Rare Keys.

Staff Ranks

This should be fairly self explainable but we'll go over it anyway. Below you'll find a list of all our roles on the discord for the staff team.

Management - Owner & Manager

These are the highest ranks. The Owner owns the server and manages everything. He fixes most bugs & comes up with ideas on how to keep players interested on the server. He handles hiring Devs that help him work on bringing updates to the server. The Manager role manages staff; making sure they are properly trained to handle the situations that may be thrown at them. Along with handling applications, directing admins, & other miscellaneous tasks. Under no circumstances should you personally message these roles unless they expressly say to. These people are very busy working on bringing new additions to the server for you so if you bother them you are wasting their time and slowing down updates.

Administrators - Admins

Admins each are in charge of their dedicated teams. We have 1-2 admins for each team so they’re considered the ‘lead’ for each of those teams. They are directed to keep the team running & make sure they are staying on task with what they should be working on. Most have their own dedicated tasks that were given to them by management. I would refrain from messaging them if you run into issues & instead opening a ticket in #support.

Moderation - Helpers & Mods

These are our moderation branch roles. These guys are your go-to people. If you have an issue with the server you should be opening a ticket for support not personally messaging these guys (Tickets are for your own safety and logging information) however if you see them online on the server feel free to ask them for help! They will send information from players (you guys) to the owner/development team when necessary as well as logging bugs and such on our development board for them to fix.

Content Team - Builders & Devs

These are our support branch roles. Despite being the support branch they are still just as important to the team as much as any other role. Developers help develop content on the server and fix bugs. Builders build the amazing structures you'll see on the server like the hub or server spawns. Administrators of the build team also lead the build team, providing instruction for the other builders on what to do.

Media

The media rank is for youtubers and twitch streamers. This rank is equally important as other ranks; youtubers/twitch are needed to help advertise the server more.

Wiki Editors

These guys edit this wiki! Without these guys you wouldn't have the information you see here. Be sure to give a big thanks when you see one if you really enjoy the guides they output.

Event Coordinators

The event coordinator rank is for those who are interested in bringing events to the team. For example, ‘build competitions’ & ‘question of the day’. They spend time brainstorming on how to bring the server closer together & have fun while doing so.

Donator Roles

These roles are given to those who linked their discord account to minecraft (Visit How to Link for more information) and have bought a rank on the server. Each role is given the corresponding color/name to the rank given ingame.

Other Roles

Member/Player/Level roles are all miscellaneous roles. Visit How to Link and Level Guide for more information on Member/Level roles The player role is just the default role used to give you access to the server

Hopefully this article cleared up some things for you on the many various roles you can find on our discord! Enjoy your time on the server! Remember if there's ever anything you need assistance with you can always make a ticket (#support channel).

What Are Tickets?

Tickets are our discord support system designed to make supporting players on the server easier than ever before. There are multiple categories to choose from so as to make support faster and give you a format that fits your situation. Making tickets is fairly simple and makes both your life and staff life much easier so read on to learn more on how to create a ticket!

Where Do I Find Tickets?

Tickets can be found in the #support channel on our discord. It should be one of the highest channels you can find. Simply navigate your way there and you'll see a list of ticket categories to choose from!

How Do I Create A Ticket?

Simple! Just click on the reaction button below the category that best fits your issue. Not sure on how to tell which category fits your issue? No worries, keep reading and we'll explain more about each category!

Which Category Do I Select?

There are multiple categories to select from which at times can be confusing. So this guide will go more in-depth on how to select which category best fits the type of support you're looking for. Worst case if you do select the wrong category then a staff member will simply inform you and either have you create a new ticket or will carry on with the ticket depending on the circumstances.

General Support

If you just have a question you need answered or your issue doesn't really fit in the other categories then this is the place to go. The format provided is fit for a more general approach in order to provide the best/fastest support we can.

Player Reports

Please please please always report players via this ticket. DO NOT say anything about them publicly as this makes staff jobs much harder. If a player is aware a staff member is on to them they are much less likely to break the rules which yes is a good thing but it also means they think they can get away with behaving badly as long as a staff member ISN'T around.

In other words you would use this ticket to report players whether it be for hacking, breaking chat rules or harassing you. You can also report DM advertising here, which if you do please be sure to provide their discord ID.

Bug Reports

If you happen to run into a bug on the server or an exploit you would report it here. The format is meant to make sure you give us the most important information when reporting a bug so that we can smash those bugs as soon as possible. Just remember when reporting a bug to give as many details as you can. "I found a bug" or "There's a bug with tinkers" is not detailed. That doesn't explain what the bug is or how we can reproduce it. You may also get an item replacement from these tickets if you lost an item due to a server bug! It's not a guarantee however, it is up to the admin team on whether or not you'll get a replacement.

Connecting on other Devices

You can play Void Realms on any device that has Minecraft Bedrock! As long as you own Minecraft for that device you can connect to our server using our IP. The port is just the default bedrock port instead of java's port!

Linking your Java & Bedrock accounts

You can now link your java account to a bedrock account so you can play your java account on the go, in your living room or whatever your preference is! Please keep in mind that any items on your bedrock account will not be transferred over when linked and you must transfer those items over first. We do not transfer account data like skills levels, player ranks etc.

How do you link?
- Login to the server on either account
- Type /bedrocklink (or /linkaccount) and provide the username of the opposite account
- Login with the second account and type /bedrocklink (First Account Name) (Code Given)
Example: Java Account: /bedrocklink *SkizzlesX Code is 1234 Bedrock Account: /bedrocklink ISkizzlesI 1234

Global Linking

You can use the above mentioned linking process if you want, but you can also link your account globally so you don't have to relink your accounts on every server you join! As long as the server allows global linking (which we do) you do not have to do the above mentioned steps. Instead you'll use one of the two mentioned ways below!

How do you link?

1) Online Linking: <- Follow This Link

  • Login with your Bedrock account
  • Login with your Java account
  • You're Linked!
2) Server Linking:
  • Log onto link.geysermc.org with your Bedrock & Java accounts
  • Type /linkaccount with one of the accounts. You will be given a code
  • On the other account type /linkaccount (code)
  • You're Linked!

Still struggling to login?

Are you still finding it difficult to login? There's some videos below that show how to connect to bedrock enabled java servers!

Nintendo Switch: https://youtu.be/zalT_oR1nPM

Xbox: https://youtu.be/g8mHvasVHMs

PlayStation: https://youtu.be/ND_VFaAXC8M

Useful Commands

Below is a list of useful commands for bedrock players
  • /geyser tooltips - Enables tooltips like item damage and durability for bedrock players
  • /geyser statistics - Opens the Java Statistics menu for Bedrock players
  • /geyser offhand - Adds item to offhand for bedrock players
  • /geyser advancements - Opens the Java Advancements menu for Bedrock players

Bedrock Settings

We recommend you use these tips to enhance your gameplay on Void Realms

  • Touch -> UI Profile - Classic.
  • Lower your render distance before going to player warps. Not all player warps are bedrock friendly and staff may not always be around to tp you out
  • Turn off Fancy Graphics

What are gems?

Gems is the Void Realms way to obtain premium items without having to pay a cent! This ensures we can offer you various items in our store without breaking Mojang’s EULA and allowing us to keep players happy and give them something to do!

What are gems used for?

Gems are used to buy the different types of crate keys to obtain items from those. To open the gem shop, just use the command /gemshop ingame. This will open a menu where you can select a key to buy. Your gems are network wide so you can spend them on different servers than you play on! There are all 5 of our crate keys available in this shop:

  • Common Key: 5000 Gems
  • Uncommon Key: 12500 Gems
  • Rare Key: 20000 Gems
  • Epic Key: 27500 Gems
  • Legendary Key: 35000 Gems
With keys, you can open the different crates on each gamemode, making you able to get even the most expensive items (for example spawners or legendary gear) that are in the game!

How to obtain gems?

Now that we have told you about the features gems are available to provide to you, we should dive right into how to obtain gems. Most servers have the same ways on how to obtain gems, with just minor differences. These are the most common ways to gather gems:

  • Crates
  • Vote Parties
  • Daily Bonus
  • Voting

Daily Bonus

Another way to obtain gems and crate keys is the daily bonus. Each day, after having played for 20 minutes, you will be able to claim your daily bonus by using /db. If you are claiming your daily bonus every day, you will be getting streak rewards, meaning the amount of gems and quality of the keys will increase. If you claim your daily bonus 30 days in a row, you will even be given a legendary key!

Network Wide Leveling

This is a system where you gain exp just by playing the game normally and your level will show up in chat beside you! Everytime you hit a level milestone you'll gain some gems. Type /level in chat to get a better understanding of your level.

Statistics & what they mean

All statistics shown on your profile are server wide!
  • Level - Shows your current network (server-wide) level
  • Current XP - The amount of exp you gained from the moment you started till now
  • Required XP - The amount of XP required until the next level
  • Multiplier - YDetermines how much XP you'll get if you have a multiplier booster
  • Booster - Boosts your XP and allows you to level up faster
  • Blocks Broken/Placed/Walked - How many blocks you Broke/Placed/Walked while playing on the server
  • Kills/Deaths - Shows how many players you killed and how many times you’ve died on the server
  • Mobs Killed - How many mobs you killed while playing on the server
  • Fish Caught - How many fish you caught while playing on the server
  • Play Time - Your overall active playing time (This will not rise if you're sitting AFK)

Level Milestones

As mentioned before every time you hit a milestone you are rewarded with gems! The higher your level the higher you are rewarded gems. The milestones are every 5 levels, with big milestones being every 25 levels.

Network Gems

This means the gems you receive via the server or the store will be the same throughout all game modes. These gems can be used on the crates at /gems shop or /Warp Crates.

Gems are not tradable to avoid bad intentions via players on the server.

How to vote and what does it reward?

Thanks for showing interest in supporting the server! Voting brings more traffic to the server, meaning you'll have more new people to meet and play with, or more competition etc, so voting is an important contribution to the server if you have time! It's super simple, just use the links below and put your minecraft name (CaSe SeNsItIve!) when you vote. Then you'll receive the rewards on the server and be eligible for a vote party!

https://servers-minecraft.net/server-void-realms.1127/vote

https://minecraft-mp.com/server/342645/vote/

https://minecraft-server.net/vote/voidrealms/

https://www.planetminecraft.com/server/void-realms-3561289/vote/

https://minecraftservers.org/vote/229596

https://minecraft-server-list.com/server/468727/vote/

https://topminecraftservers.org/vote/16982

https://play-minecraft-servers.com/minecraft-servers/void-realms/?tab=vote

What does it reward you ask? Why that's simple, it rewards gems and, provided you're on a server with crates, vote keys! Be sure to go to /warp crates if you get vote keys to use your prize.

Vote Parties

Vote parties are rewarded when the network has reached 600 votes! Vote parties can happen multiple times a day however you can only get rewarded once a day as you have to meet these requirements:

  • Be online when the vote party is met
  • Voted a certain amount of times during that vote party
  • Space in your inventory to collect the rewards
Since you can only vote a limited amount of times a day you can only recieve rewards once a day! What do vote parties reward? They reward:
  • 500 gems
  • 3 vote keys (Does not apply to Creative)
Keep in mind that per the requirements you only get the vote party rewards on the gamemode you're on! So be sure to be online on your favorite gamemode to get your voting rewards.

Why are villagers optimized?

Villagers on Minecraft servers cause a significant amount of lag in large quantities, to help reduce this impact on the server we introduce a trick called "lobotomizing". Villagers lobotomize for a few reasons:

  • When they are enclosed in a space this stops their breeding and movement AI (Usually I would make the space 5x5 or wider) and puts them into just a trading mode. This reduces the amount of "brain" ticks from the villagers AI.
  • When the server is lagging below a certain threshold it stops all villager mechanics (usually 16tps).
We recommend having a breeding area 5x5 blocks or larger, 3 blocks high, and then moving your villagers into a 1x1 for trading mode to do your part in reducing server lag! You should make the area for villagers larger if they're having this issue so they have the ability to lose and gain new trades.

Setting up your art station

To set up your artwork station, place an easel by right-clicking it on the ground. After, right click with your empty canvas onto your easel to start drawing. To paint on your canvas, click the Canvas with different dyes (see the dye’s section for the correct dye palette). Right-Click and drag to draw lines and curves. You can also right click with a Paint Bucket to fill in an area.

Managing your artwork

Managing your artwork is easy; you can edit, save, copy, delete, and even search for yours or others artworks!
  • When going to save your artwork you can use a Paint Brush (see recipes on how to make them) or using the command /artmap save <artwork name>.
  • To make a copy of your own artwork all you need is an empty map and a crafting table or the crafting section of your inventory. Simply place the artworks in any positions and you will get a copy of the artwork you created!
  • You also have the ability to edit your artworks! Simply have the saved artwork on an easel and right click it with an empty map. This will give you a replica of your artwork that you can change to what you like. This won't change active copies of the original artwork, but instead creates a new artwork, identical to your original!

Commands to know

  • /artmap - brings up the art menu
  • /artmap save <title> - saves your art
  • /artmap preview <title> - allows you to view artwork you created or the artwork others created
  • /artmap search <search word> - searches for the artwork or the artist of the artwork you are looking for. Click on their name in chat to bring up a list of their artworks!

Recipes

The recipes for the artmap plugin can be easily found in /art . When in the menu you can click on the crafting table icon as it will bring you into a menu full of all the recipes for your art making needs!

Know the basics

First you need to know enchantments come in tiers, which are indicated by their text color:

  • Red (Curse of Vanishing and Curse of Binding) represents a negative enchant
  • White (e.g. Efficiency) represents a common enchant
  • Green (e.g. Unbreaking) represents an uncommon enchant
  • Blue (e.g. Fortune, Looting) represents a rare enchant
  • Purple (e.g. Slowness) represents an epic enchant
  • Orange (e.g. Wither) represents a legendary enchant
  • Gold (e.g. Mending, Rage) represents an artifact enchant

The higher the rarity, the more difficult it is to acquire the specific enchant:

  • Villager trades can only give common, uncommon, rare, and a little number of epic enchants.
  • Enchantment tables can only give common, uncommon, rare, epic and legendary enchants.
  • Fishing can give enchants of all rarities.
Loot chests can give enchants of all rarities, which include those from vanilla structures (such as ancient cities and end cities) and custom structures from the incendium nether biomes.

In addition, some enchants also have two different maximum levels:

  • Maximum Vanilla Level refers to the highest attainable enchant level through vanilla methods, which include villagers, enchantment tables, fishing, loot chests and mob drops.
  • Maximum Dungeon/Crate Level refers to the highest attainable enchant level through dungeon rewards (coming soon) and crates.
  • For example, the max vanilla level of protection is 4 while the max dungeon/crate level is 7. Note that combining two protection 4 books with an anvil DOES NOT result in a protection 5 book (due to the vanilla maximum cap).
  • Use the in game command /enchants to view the maximum levels of other enchants.
Finally, note that each tool / weapon / armor piece can only hold 8 kind of enchantments. If you already have 8 enchantments on any equipment, you won’t be able to put a ninth one on it! Most items come with more than 8 enchantments, so make sure to choose them wisely.

Fermenting

  • Place a cauldron over a heat source (i.e. campfire or lit netherrack)
  • Fill the cauldron with water
  • Add ingredients with right click
  • Wait the correct time for the drinks to brew
  • Right click on the cauldron with glass bottles

Distilling

  • Create a brewing stand
  • Use blaze powder to power the brewing stand
  • Place glowstone dust at the top to act as a filter
  • Put your fermented drinks in the potion slots and wait for them to distill!

Some drinks don't need to be distilled!

Aging

  • A regular minecraft barrel can be used to age drinks
  • A Big Barrel and a Small Barrel (3D like versions of the vanilla barrel) can be used

Small Barrel

  • Use 8 wooden stairs (any wood type, multiple wood types needed for different brews)
  • Place a sign at the lower right corner of the barrel and write “barrel” or “Barrel”
  • When the words "barrel created" pop up in chat you created the barrel correctly. Destroying the sign removes the barrel you created.

Big Barrel

  • Use 5 Fences, 16 Wooden stairs, and 18 wood planks to build a barrel shape. Attach a fence at the front bottom of the barrel
  • Place a sign with the word “Barrel” or “barrel” at the front top of the barrel (if placed correctly you’d see “barrel created” in chat) Destroying the sign removes the barrel you created.
  • Every full minecraft day counts as one year the drinks are brewing
  • The type of wood can vary the brewing process
  • Long aged brews have stronger effects and can make the drunk level rise

Getting Drunk/Getting Sober: (drunk effects, drunk symptoms)

  • When getting drunk the player will experience loss of their controls (when they move forward they may move to the right or the left out of their control)
  • Effects like blindness, nausea, poison, etc. will occur
  • Chat text will be altered as well. When typing in chat you may experience your words come out as “tesht” or “teeest” when you try to type the word “test”. Talk in chat like *test* or like [test] so everyone can understand you easier.
  • When your drunk level reaches the max then you will vomit out soulsand. You will be unable to pick up the blocks and it disappears after a few seconds.

Brew Sealing

  • This allows you to seal your brewed drinks and making sure no one can tamper with it!
  • This also makes it possible for you to sell your brews in a chest shop for people to buy.
  • When sealing brews the sealed drinks don’t show the details of how it was brewed before
  • To create it you have to put two glass bottles above a 2x2 square of any wood type (similar to how you create a fletching table).

Want to make a shop at your base to sell items to other players, or even buy items from other players?

Getting Started

Chest shops are a convenient and simple way to sell and buy things from and to other players. All you need to get started are some chests/barrels and wooden signs. All you will need to do is place the sign on the chest while crouching, so it won’t just private the chest, and use the right format to set it up. Do keep in mind that since barrels can only have 1 type of item, it does not work with barter shop since that requires the use of 2 items.

How to set one up

To set a chest shop up once you have the tools is simple, you just type on the sign the correct format depending on which type of shop you are interested in creating. Whether that is a buy shop, a sell shop, a combo shop which allows for both the purchase and sale of an item, or a barter shop:

In these formats, the quantity is the amount of the thing you want to sell at once. Price is the cost to buy/sell the amount specified in quantity, and the last line specifies whether you are buying said item, selling it, doing both or bartering.

After the sign is made properly, it will show in red on the chest, that is when you give it the item you want the shop to be about. You give it the item you want to sell/buy by left clicking the red chest sign with the desired item on hand.

If you did it correctly, the sign will change accordingly to show the item you have selected as being in the sign for the chest shop. From there you can fill the chest with the desired item to sell, or leave it empty for buying from others.

Buy Shop

A buy shop is a way for a player to buy items from another player. In the example I am buying a stack of sand from another player for $100.

Sell Shop

A sell shop is a way for a player to sell items to another player. In the example I am selling a stack of sand to another player for $100.

Combo Shop

A combo shop is a way for a player to buy/sell items to another player. In the example i am buying a stack of sand from another player for $50 & selling a stack of sand to another player for $100.

Bartering Shop

Bartering is a fascinating and different way to create a chest shop, it allows you to trade items instead of buying or selling for the game currency. So if you want to sell an item but only want a specific other item in return then this is the option for you. You will be essentially trading players one item for another.

Shop Timeout

Do keep in mind that if you type the format for your shop but fail to add an item within a minute or two the chest shop creation will time out; once that happens you just need to break the sign and place it again.

Explore different biomes among all of the different dimensions. New biomes to build your bases in, with recolored and custom structures.

The vanilla structures have been revamped! Loot chests refill every x amount of days. So be sure to revisit structures if they were looted when you originally arrived!

Portals

Portals are the main way of transportation between the different worlds. It allows a player to rtp between three different worlds. Whether the Build world where one may claim land and build their bases, farms, grinders etc. or the custom Nether & End biomes where you can locate new lands, creatures, and structures never seen before!

To access portals you just need to /warp portal and walk into the big portal you will see immediately upon warp. It will offer you a menu where you can choose which world to rtp into.

Custom Build World

The Custom Build World is a newer added feature. It is similar to a normal build world in the regard that you are encouraged to claim land here and make your builds here. It is different in a couple regards. First and foremost, the custom world has custom terrains, these terrains have large varieties, from savanna badlands, to arid highlands, to lavender vallies.

This includes further challenges such as custom mobs to increase difficulty, some custom dungeons, & if you're unlucky you may run into the warden.

There are a lot of new options all worth exploring in search for your ideal biome to build in. Furthermore, the custom build world offers natural structures. These new structures are such things as dungeons, Medieval Villa like structures and others. This world offers other new features such as custom mining, custom mobs and such. (If you are interested in finding out more about custom mining feel free to visit the wiki page for it, it has in depth details on all you need to know about it.)

The Nether

The Nether is a custom world in the sense that you may explore and find our custom biomes and structures (Nether Biomes). You can also farm resources as normal in the nether but it is not a resource world so be careful as to not leave it uglier then when you found it.

The End

The End is in a similar situation as the Nether, As it also has custom biomes and structures. When selected from the menu in /warp portal it will randomly tp you in the end world, not where you would fight the ender dragon, but where you can search for end cities and such. Keep in mind that once you are inside a specific world, you may use /rtp to get teleported within that world, but such command has a 5 minute cooldown.

Nether Incendium Biomes

Minecraft’s 1.16 nether update brought us some new biomes and structures, but now they are starting to get old. Tired of grinding wither skeleton skulls at nether fortresses and looting bastion remnants? Starting from our Towny 2.0 update, more content in the form of custom biomes and structures (and more!) are added to the supposedly-hellish nether.

Withered Forest

It has been rumored that the piglins were once at war with the wither skeletons at these lands. We never knew what happened and which side won, but these dark and gloomy blackstone-basalt forests are now home to wither skeletons (maybe because their color blends in more). You may even discover one of their ruined labs which, perhaps, hold secrets about this ancient battlefield.

Quartz Flats

We have a black-colored biome, so why not a white one? This biome comprises smooth quartz blocks (that are constantly on fire) floating on a lava sea. You will see an abundance of ghasts and skeletons who constantly try to knock you into the lava. However, rumors say that some other mobs reside in a strange structure they call a “Sanctum”…

Ash Barrens

The Ash Barrens mostly contain smooth basalt and lava. Wait… that’s it? Almost, except when you are lucky enough to stumble upon a gigantic medieval-styled blackstone castle, you get the chance to inherit the possessions of the infamous piglin king, but after you destroy his fleet of heavily-armored piglin brute guards.

Infernal Dunes

With all the red sandstone around, this biome seems hot at first glance, not to mention that the desert blazes are setting everywhere (and everyone!) on fire. If you bump into an altar, you may be able to summon the fiercest among them all – the Hovering Inferno. Just remember that every success… requires a sacrifice.

Toxic Heap

These greenish biomes seem dangerous but they consist of blocks that you don’t regularly see in vanilla Minecraft. (I mean, where in Minecraft could you find naturally generating slime blocks and green terracotta?) You can expect to see slimes and phantoms wandering around the biome, but I guess it’s good to remember that the name of this biome is “Toxic” heap…

Biomes that… Seem Familiar?

During your journey, you may also encounter biomes that look familiar, but some of them are actually custom biomes. Witness the breathtaking hanging warped trees in the Inverted Forests and the mighty Volcanic Deltas. With more than 10 biomes in total, Towny’s nether has now become a great traveling location that flourishes with diversity.

Custom Structures and Custom Loot

Can’t wait to start roaming the nether? Hold up, that’s not all! Towny’s nether contains even more unmentioned custom structures for you to marvel at. If you are lucky, and if you prove yourself worthy, you can acquire custom enchantments (more about custom enchants here), and even tools and weapons that have amazing effects you have never thought of!

So grab your obsidian to build that portal frame, or just simply use the /rtp command, to jump right into the nether. Maybe you will see some piglins hanging out peacefully at their own village, or maybe you will be pursued by a hoard of desert blazes, but our custom biomes can definitely provide you with an unforgettable nether exploration experience.

Have you ever died unexpectedly on Towny and was afraid your stuff would be lost? Well don’t fret any further! The introduction to graves has changed the way for players who died and gives them a chance to get back to their stuff without it despawning.

Graves

When you die by anything/anyone on Towny a grave will be created for you upon death. The grave will show how you died, the player name, the date and a time limit for the player to get their grave before it breaks and is left on the ground.

Along with a grave being created the player is able to find their grave coordinates via chat along with the world they died in incase they accidentally tossed out the compass they received.

Time Limit For Graves

Keep in mind, you have only 3 hours to collect your grave! This means after the 3 hour time limit is up the grave will disappear and your items will be left on the ground; leaving you to only have a 5 minute timer (via vanilla minecraft rules) to get your items before other players retrieve them.

Lava/Void Graves:

Dying in the void or dying in the lava can be a scary time for those who have stuff they don't want to lose. Luckily enough, after dying in those circumstances your grave spawns in the nearest safe location along with giving you a compass guiding you to that location.

This way you won’t lose your stuff to the void or have to worry about your stuff burning in lava.

Collecting your Grave

When going to collect the grave you can shift + click on it allowing the items to be placed back in an orderly position along with your armor being placed on. You can also click on the grave and bring up its inventory so you can place the items you’d like into your inventory in the positions you prefer.

Items Received via Graves

Compass:

When you die you are given a compass with coords to your death location. This allows the player to find their grave in the given time and collect their items comfortably. The compass will disappear once the grave has been collected.

The obituary is a marker for what happened when you died and your death coordinates. The obituary shows the cause of death, date, the amount of items you had in your inventory, along with the exp and location of your death.

You could sell your obituary to other players as a joke, throw it out (using /trash or burning it in lava), or save it as a memoir of the time you died.

The Basics

Before you join the mob arena, here are a few important things to keep in mind. You'll use the items you have in your inventory, and there are some other details to remember, like how to get in and out, how to begin the game, and more.

TIP: Be sure to replace {arena name} with one of the three arenas!

The arenas are:

  • DeepDark
  • Dungeon
  • Mineshaft

Here's a list of commands that will help you join one of our three arenas!

  • /ma join {arena name} - Join an arena of your choice!
  • /ma leave - Leaves the arena you currently are in!
  • /ma spec {arena name} - spectate an area of your choice! be able to see those currently in a session and be able to watch your friends kick butt.
  • /ma arenas - lists all of the arenas that are available to you

How to get to the Mob Arena area

You will need to type /warp MobArena. It will bring you to the lovely area AloiseWipp built for us to enjoy. It houses the leaderboards for each arena, separate tunnels leading to each tunnel, & some info boards!

Joining An Arena

When you join an arena you will be teleported to a board that looks something like the image below. You will need to right click the iron block & you will be marked as 'ready' to join the arena!

WARNING: Be sure all of you joining an arena are in the lobby before marking yourself as ready so you don't end up forgetting someone!

The Arenas

There are 3 different mob arenas, each with different themes and different bosses.

Dungeon

Check out the dungeon arena I built! It's the fierce lair of the Piglin Brute. Watch your step inside, as he might give you a toss for reaching for his gold.

Mineshaft

Explore the epic mineshaft crafted by our talented builder, Sh__de (Shade)! Inside, you'll encounter the sassy iron golem. Spotting you on a "Most Wanted" flyer, he's got his eyes on the prize and is craving that juicy reward!

Deep Dark

Last but not least, get ready for the mysterious Deep Dark—also brought to life by the amazing Sh__de (Shade)! Inside, you'll meet the Warden, who's quite the curious character. Keep things quiet, or his super sniffer might lead him straight to you!

Rewards

So, what about the rewards? While you won't discover the exact items for every wave here, I can share that you'll earn individual rewards at waves 3, 5, 25, 50, 75, and 100. Additionally, you'll be gifted rewards every 10 waves. The prize pool is packed with goodies, and who knows, you might even snag the exclusive event rewards from PyroMining & PyroFishing by defeating the final boss.

Player warps allow you to create customizable server warps for people to teleport to be it for a shop, a mob grinder, a cool build or anything else.

Player Warps

Typing /pwarp in game will bring up a menu similar to this one here, mousing over the icons will let you read a description about that pwarp and clicking it will teleport you to that pwarp.

Creating a Pwarp

In order to create your own pwarp you’ll need to be standing in the exact spot you want the warp to be at, and then type /pwarp create [player warp name]

Example: /pwarp create Test

Then, to edit that pwarp, type /pwarp edit [player warp name] . That will bring up a gui menu with 4 options, pwarp material, pwarp price, public warp, and pwarp description. (As shown in the example command and the image below)

Example: /pwarp edit Test

Editing The Material

First, the material. Click on the Edit Material option, then type in chat the material you want your pwarp to appear as in the /pwarp gui using underscores for spaces i.e. typing Iron_Block will change the material icon to an iron block. Alternatively you can type /pwarp setitem [warpname] [item] to do the same thing.

Editing The Price

Second is pwarp price. Click on the Edit Price option and type in chat the amount you would like to charge players to teleport to your pwarp if you want. Alternatively you can type /pwarp setprice [warpname] [price] for the same effect. i.e. /pwarp setprice example 100 will make teleporting to the Example warp cost $100.

Making Your Pwarp Public

Third is the public option. Your pwarp is private by default and must be toggled to public. In order for a pwarp to be eligible to be made public it must have a description set.

Editing Your Pwarp Description

And fourth is the edit description option. Click the Edit Description option in the gui and type out a short description of what your pwarp is for. There is a character limit for the description so you’ll want to keep it short. Alternatively you can type /pwarp description warpname description text for the same effect. i.e. /pwarp description Example this is an example pwarp.

Have you ever wanted to help someone in their town but because you aren't in the same town & it seemed impossible?

❌ You can't necessarily add someone to access to your entire town, but you can add them to town plots so you don't have to compromise your town by leaving public build access on

Creating Town Plots

In order to add players to your town chunks you first need to turn one into a plot! This is simply done by standing in the chunk in which you want to give the player access to and typing /t plot. A message will appear in your chat box making you aware you changed it to a town plot.

Adding Players To Town Plots

After creating your town plot, in order to add a player you will need to type the command

  • /t plot add (player)

After doing this a message will appear in your chat letting you know that you added a member to that plot.

More Commands

If you want to remove the player from the plot you can use

  •  /t plot remove (player)

If you want to see who is all trusted in that plot (besides town members) you can use

  • /t plot list

Buying Crops

To start growing and selling plants, you first need to buy seeds. You can find the seed markets by using the command /farm market.

Permanent Shop

Within the permanent shop you can purchase crops, bushes, plants, saplings, and more. These items are always available for purchase, and you don't need to worry about them disappearing.

Rotating Stock Shop

Once you reach level 15 you will be able to access this shop. Within the rotating stock shop you can purchase crops, bushes, plants, saplings, and more. Keep in mind that this inventory changes over time, so it's advisable to make your purchases when you come across them.

In order to sell your plants you need to grow them first!

Growstations

To start growing plants, you need a growstation. Craft your first one using a regular crafting table. You can craft more growstations by upgrading your skill in the archive.

Growing a Plant

Once you receive seeds from the Farmers Market (link), you may begin growing your first plant. You do this by right clicking the growstation and placing the seed where the iron bars are. Your plants will only grow if you are online.

Once your seed is done growing you can claim it from the growstation.

WARNING: Your plant requires water so be sure to water it regularly! Do this by right clicking your growstation with a water bucket.

Multiple Harvest Plants

If your plant is one that produces several items (i.e Peas, Tomatoes, Etc) you will need to wait the full time it takes for the plant to grow & then the additional time for each item.

WARNING: If you right click to harvest a multiple harvest plant before it is done producing you will lose the plant and not be able to collect the items. Wait till they're done producing & collect them in the Growstation Inventory (Chest item in growstation menu)

Plant Requirements

Some plants require specific requirements to grow. You can see if your growstation meets the plant requirements by looking inside of the growstation.

To change the temperature, environment, & speed you can use different custom items.

Leveling Your Grow Station

In order to purchase upgrades in your growstation you need to level up your growstation to get upgrade points! Once you have free upgrade points you can use them to level up certain skills within your growstation.

Wondering how to level up in PyroFarming? Read more to find out.

What are levels for?

Levels are required to purchase specific seeds, craft custom items, & level up your skill archive tree.

Getting Experience

So, how do you earn experience? By farming! Yes, it's true – farming various seeds and crops in a growstation can increase both your farming level and your growstation's capabilities. You'll find every plant listed in the /farm codex. Hover over a crop within the codex, and it will indicate the amount of experience you can gain from growing it.

In order to upgrade certain skills you need a skill archive

Crafting a Skill Archive

To craft a skill archive you will need 4 lettuce, 4 tomatoes, & a lectern.

Using the Skill Archive

In the skill archive, you can use elysium to upgrade various skills. Once your skill tree is leveled up, most upgrades become available, and you mainly need elysium to unlock them.

Looking to enhance your fishing rod to new levels? How about some custom enchants! Augments are basically custom enchants that you have to craft using entropy and other ingredients. Find out more below!

What Are Augments?

Augments are custom enchants you can apply to your fishing rod for bonuses such as a chance to catch 2 fish at once or sell fish for more money or even making rarer fish more common. You can find a list of augments and a descript of what they do ingame by using the /Fish Augments command, I supplied an image to the right to show you just what it should look like. Be sure to add that s, otherwise you'll be trying to use a different command which we'll go over later.

What do these Augments ... do exactly?

Depends on the augment you grab! Each one has it's own unique enchant and a max level. Too lazy to look ingame at what augments there are or maybe you just want an area where you can see them all at once? Well luckily for you I will provide a list below of the augments and their effects!

  • Hot Spot - Adding this augment to your fishing rod allows you to have a chance to catch 2 fish! If you level up the augment it increases the chance for a max of 45% Requires VoidFishing Lv. 10
  • Call of the Storm - Pretty much the same thing as hot spot except it only activates during rain. However as a trade off it has a higher chance to catch fish! Up to a max of 65% THIS DOES NOT STACK WITH HOT SPOT, YOU CAN ONLY GET UP TO 2 CUSTOM FISH AT A TIME. Requires VoidFishing Lv. 12
  • Saturate - Whenever you fish you get a chance to fill your hunger bar! Up to a 50% chance at max level Requires VoidFishing Lv. 12
Biome Disruption - Different fish spawn in different biomes! Don't want to fish in a certain biome? Look no further than this augment as it gives you a chance to catch a fish from any biome. Max level is a 65% chance Requires VoidFishing Lv. 16
  • Precision Cutting - Need an extra boost of entropy? This augment increases how much entropy you get from gutting fish! Max level gives 70% more entropy. Requires VoidFishing Lv. 22
  • Sage - Whenever you catch a fish, this augment increases the amount of VoidFishing experience you get per a fish. Each rarity type drops different experience amounts. At max level this enchant multiplies the amount of exp you get by x1.5. Requires VoidFishing Lv. 25
  • Crab Bait - To craft augments you need custom drops! These buggers can be a bit rare and crab bait makes them that much more common! At max level you have a 9% chance to catch a crab whenever you fish. Requires VoidFishing Lv. 25
  • Intellect - Increases how smart you are! Not really, sorry. However it does increase how much exp you get from fishing. Max level increases your exp gain by 1.8x Requires VoidFishing Lv. 25
  • Perception - Did you know anytime you catch a fish you get a little bit of entropy? This augment increases how much you get! Max level increases your entropy gain from fishing by 1.5x Requires VoidFishing Lv. 28
  • Trophy - Like to gamble? You can weigh your fish at the scales npc to make them worth more ... or possibly worth less. This augment increases your chance of success! +18% Chance to suceed at max level. Requires VoidFishing Lv. 35
  • Solar Rage - Maybe you like to have more certainty... or maybe you really want to make bank on your gambling! This augment increases how much money you get when you sell fish. Max level increases how much you make from fish by 25%! Requires VoidFishing Lv. 35
  • Master Fisherman - Run out of augments? Maybe you just really want to up the chances of catching rarer fish. This expensive endgame augment increases your chance to catch rarer fish. Max level has an effect of 200% Requires VoidFishing Lv. 45

How Do I Craft Augments?

Great so you know what augments are and what they do ... how do you make them? Well first you need to find out what ingredients they need as well as make sure you have the correct VoidFishing Level to craft it. Once you have a list of ingredients you need to make sure you have enough entropy to craft it. Finally you need to grab a cauldron, fill it water and then toss in all the ingredients! Make sure to have the EXACT amount. No more, no less. Once you put the ingredients in the filled cauldron and providing you have the right level and the correct amount of entropy, left clicking the cauldron with a fishing rod in your hand crafts an augment! A video will be provided to your right incase you don't understand by all the text.

How Do I Apply Augments?

Finally you have an augment. Now how the hell do you put it on your fishing rod to use? Well it's simple! All you need to do is go to /warp fish and talk to the Augmenter NPC to the right of the warp. Then plop in your fishing rod in the left slot below the books, augments on the right side below the books and finally just hit the green glass. Tada your fishing rod now has custom enchants! You can also come back and view this menu at any time for refreshers such as how to craft augments. You can also withdraw entropy here (Only 10000 at a time) and remove all your augments on your fishing rod if you want to sell them or apply them to a different rod.

What Are Baits?

Baits are items you can attach to your fishing rod, enabling you to catch new fish that are otherwise unobtainable! The downside is these fish are added to the pool of catchable fish, it's not recommended to use these baits on a rod with biome disruption.

What Do Baits Give?

As mentioned above these baits will enable you to catch fish you could not catch before! In the fish codex you can hover over and some of the fish will show which bait you need to catch that fish!

How Do I Obtain Baits?

You can use the command /fish bait to open a bait shop! You'll find all the baits here available to buy. However in order to buy them you must meet the required level first. You can hover over each bait in the shop to view level requirements and it was also tell you in red text if you don't meet the requirements to purchase the bait!

How do I apply baits?

You just go into your inventory, pick up the bait and hold it over your fishing rod, then left click the fishing rod. It'll apply it and boom you'll have the bait applied. It will then show the amount of uses left in the lore of the fishing rod at the very bottom!

As seen by the picture below, the Apprentice Bait is applied and has 100 uses left. Now whenever this rod catches a fish it will go down a use, until 0 uses left.

Normally you would need to fish in the biomes of the fish you want, but when you have Biome Disruption 3 you can stay in the biome you're in and keep fishing. It will just lower your chance of obtaining the bait fish since the pool is much larger!

So what do I catch with these baits?

Well as already explained before, new fish! But I bet you're looking for a list of everything you can catch. In that case, I would check out the bait pages below this guide! Each bait page lists the fish you can catch.

Did you know you can get items from the fish?

Fishing Codex

What is the codex?

The codex is probably one of the most common commands you'll use when custom fishing. It has all sorts of information such as the different rarities of fish, what biome fish spawn in, how many fish are in each rarity, the names of all the fish, and cute little descriptions of all the fish.

How do I access the codex?

Alright you got me, this codex sounds sick. But how do I access it now? No worries, just use the command /fish codex anywhere at anytime to open it open! The image below is an example of how it should look!

Fishing Codex (w/ Baits!)

Bronze Fish:

Silver Fish

Gold Fish

Diamond Fish

Ahhhh! I was fishing and suddenly a named silverfish spawned and attacked me?!? Welcome to another section of custom fishing! Those are called crabs and they drop custom items you'll need to craft augments among other things.

Crabs

Crabs! They're named silverfish with higher health than normal. These guys drop important drops needed to craft augments! They have a 4% chance to spawn whenever you catch a fish. If you're lucky you may also get these from deliveries! NOTE: Looting does affect the droprate however not how many you'll get. You will always get one item!

Drops:

  • Crab Claw* - 20%
  • Crab Scale - 20%
  • Squid Tentacle (TOTEM ONLY)
  • Dolphin Tail (TOTEM ONLY)

*If one drops the other drops as well. So if you get a crab claw you get a crab scale.

Dolphins/Squids

You may have noticed something shiny drop when killing dolphins and squids. These are also important for crafting augments however may have later uses in a future update. Such as being used to upgrade your totem! You can also get these from deliveries. NOTE: Looting does affect the droprate however not how many you'll get. You will always get one item!

Drops:

  • Dolphin Tail - 70%
  • Squid Tentacle - 10%

Boosters

BOOSTERS! Yes you heard me, BOOSTERS! These are 30 minute boosts that increase how much entropy you get from fishing. Note that this does NOT apply to gutting fish or perception augment. These are currently gained from deliveries however more ways may be introduced in future updates.

Examples of Boosters:

  • 1.2x Entropy
  • 1.5x Entropy
  • 2x Entropy

Lures

Lures are rare items from deliveries and in the future, from the market npc as well! They can be used for a 30 minute boost to increase rare odds.

Crab Lure

This boosts your chance to catch a crab by 200%, stacked crab bait you can get an 18% chance to catch crabs.

Platinum Lure

This boosts your chance to specifically find platinum lures. Platinum fish are quite rare to find so this will help quite a bit! Especially with the Lucky Catch tournament!

Mythical Lure

This boosts your chance of catching the rarest type of fish of all! A mythical fish. These are extremely hard to find so if you find a delivery that gives you this, be sure to complete that delivery!

You're fishing and fishing and fishing ... when suddenly you get a message in chat! You got a delivery..? What the hell is that!

What are deliveries?

Deliveries are like when you work as a chef in a kitchen! Someone makes an order and you have a list of things you need to complete said order. Only instead of cooking you're fishing! After catching so many fish you'll get a delivery, but be careful you only get 3 slots to begin with. If you don't keep up with your deliveries and catch another one before having a slot open, you'll lose out on a delivery!

Where do I find my deliveries?

If you caught a delivery then you probably already know by the message but you can do /fish deliveries and it will open the delivery menu. It should look somewhat like my image on the right! It's not entirely accurate as I have bought some upgrades (more on that later). The delivery is the piece of paper, just hover over it and it'll tell you who it's for, what rarity it is and how much fish you need to deliver! Deliveries are 100% worth it as you get more entropy than you would from gutting the fish and get extra rewards such as boosters or lures. You may find yourself deleting a few deliveries however until you buy more slots!

Rarities & Rewards

You may have noticed stars next to the name of the person you're delivering too. These are how rare the deliveries are, rarer ones are more rewarding or are more likely to have rarer rewards! However they also take more fish and have longer delivery times!

Rarity/Fish Needed/Time Taken:
  • 20 Fish / 30 Minutes

  • 25 Fish / 60 Minutes

  • 35 Fish / 120 Minutes

  • 35 Fish / 60 Minutes

  • 35 Fish / 120 Minutes

  • 35 Fish / 240 Minutes

  • 100 Fish / 900 Minutes

Note that rarities 4/5/6 can only be bought from the market which is not out yet. With this in mind these numbers may change in future updates!

Possible Rewards (1/2/3/7):
  • 5 Possible Rewards

  • 4 Crab Claws

  • 4 Crab Scales

  • 2 Dolphin Tails

  • 2 Squid Tentacles

  • 1 Entropy Crystal

  • 7 Possible Rewards

  • 6 Crab Claws

  • 6 Crab Scales

  • 3 Dolphin Tails

  • 3 Squid Tentacles

  • 1 Entropy Crystal

  • 2 Entropy Crystal

  • (1.2x) Entropy Booster

  • 9 Possible Rewards

  • 8 Crab Claws

  • 8 Crab Scales

  • 4 Dolphin Tails

  • 4 Squid Tentacles

  • 3 Entropy Crystals

  • 1 Platinum Lure

  • 1 Crab Lure

  • (1.3x) Entropy Booster

  • (1.35x) Entropy Booster

  • 7 Possible Rewards (Tier 7)

  • 5 Entropy Crystals

  • 1 Platinum Lure

  • 1 Crab Lure

  • 1 Mythical Lure

  • (1.1x) Entropy Booster

  • (1.75x) Entropy Booster

  • (3x) Entropy Booster

Delivery Upgrades

There are 5 different upgrades to choose from! They all cost entropy however so you may want to hold off on upgrading some of them until you're satisfied with the augments you have! Each upgrade of course affects deliveries. Below will be a list of each one and it's affects.

Upgrades:
  • Increase Capacity - This increases how many deliveries you can have at once! This is by far one of the most important upgrades as it lets you keep fishing and not have to delete any deliveries because you don't have the fish/they're rare fish. On the cheaper side

  • Overclocked - Not a fan of waiting for your deliveries to well .. deliver? Look no further than this upgrade, it decreases the time it takes a delivery to deliver!

  • Expert Deliverer - Probably the second most important upgrade yet also the most expensive one. This one makes it so you require less fish to complete a delivery.

  • Pay Rise - Kind of on the cheaper side but at the same time the effect isn't all that huge. This upgrade increases how much entropy you get from completing deliveries

  • Lucky Charm - Feel like you don't get deliveries often enough? Upgrading this decreases how many fish you need to catch before your next delivery comes in!

What is Entropy?

Entropy is the custom fishing currency. You need it to buy upgrades for things like totems or deliveries or craft augments. In the future you may need it to use the fish market as well! Entropy is all but hard to get, it's just used in a ton of things and normally in high quantities! So let's learn how to get more!

How to get Entropy?

There's no one way to get entropy. Infact there's very many ways! So we'll go over them in sections to be less confusing.

Deliveries:

Deliveries! Completing these bad boys net you quite a hefty penny worth of entropy. If you're not sure what these are check out the delivery section of the wiki for more information!

Fishing:

Just fish! Every fish you catch nets you entropy. Rarer fish gives more entropy!

Entropy Values:

  • Bronze: 45

  • Silver: 110

  • Gold: 200

  • Diamond: 350

  • Platinum: 1250

  • Mythical: 10000

These can be increased with things like boosters, the perception augment and more!

Gutting:

What I like to call demonic rituals of fish sacrifice! You take your fish to gutter npc at /warp fish then you can give him fish and he'll gut them and in return pay you entropy! Gutting also has different values based on rarity of the fish

Gutting Values:

  • Bronze: 40

  • Silver: 120

  • Gold: 200

  • Diamond: 500

  • Platinum: 1000

Just like with fishing, this can also be increased. Just get the augment "Precision Cutting"

Custom Fishing features various events! Okay only one event .. for now, who knows what the future may hold! But for now you can experience yearly the crabmas event!

Christmas Event

The christmas event starts December 21st every year and ends on January 9th. The christmas event brings a brand new augment that can only be obtained from the event. To participate you just need to fish in the current crabmas biome to spawn a special boss: Baby Crabmas!

Crabmas Biome

If you go into /fish events CRABMAS & the book doesn't display a current crabmas biome, you have to go out and fish to find it yourself.

To find the crabmas biome, you will need to go to each biome and after fishing up your first custom fish, this will determine if this is the crabmas biome or not. If you fish up a custom fish and don't receive a message stating that it's the crabmas biome means you should move on to the next biome if that's what you're after!

Once the biome is discovered the crab will stay in that biome for an hour. After the hour is over it will announce to the server that the crabmas biome has changed.

When the Baby Crabmas is killed it will drop a Crabmas orb. When you right-click with 5 of these it will make the next crabmas boss that spawns the boss that has a chance to drop various loot!

Below is a list of biomes a crabmas can spawn in. If the biome is considered a 'snowy' or 'cold' biome, the duration Crabmas will last increases by 50%

  • Badlands
  • Beach
  • Birch Forest
  • Cold Ocean
  • Dark Forest
  • Deep Ocean
  • Desert
  • Flower Forest
  • Forest
  • Frozen Ocean
  • Frozen Peaks
  • Ice Spikes
  • Jungle
  • Lukewarm Ocean
  • Ocean
  • Plains
  • River
  • Savanna
  • Swamp
  • Taiga
  • Warm Ocean

Crabmas Boss:

After right-clicking 5 of the Crabmas orb, your next Crabmas will be this boss. When the boss spawns & you kill it, it has a chance of dropping 1 of the below items.

Crabmas Drops:
  • Snowglobe Augment
  • Hot Spot Augment
  • Entropy Crystal
  • Crab Lure
  • Platinum Lure
  • Mythical Lure
  • Crab Claw x2
  • Crab Scale x2
  • Dolphin Tail x2
  • Squid Tentacle x2
  • Entropy Booster 1.25x
  • Entropy Booster 1.65x
  • Entropy Booster 2x
  • Entropy Booster 4x

Whether you're trying to craft augments or unlock passives in your totem, levelling up is an important part of custom fishing!

What are levels for?

Levels are required to craft certain augments or use passives in your totem! They're absolutely neccessary to make decent progress with custom fishing. This guide goes over what exactly you can do to get levels!

Getting Experience

So ... what do you do to get experience? You fish! .. No really that's all just fish. However different fish rarities give different exp values. You can increase this with the sage augment!

Exp Values:

  • Bronze: 75

  • Silver: 150

  • Gold: 300

  • Diamond: 700

  • Platinum: 1900

  • Mythical: 6000

Who likes to party? You like to party, I like to party!

What is party fishing?

You get bonuses for fishing with others! So grab some friends or visit one of the fishing pwarps! The more friends you grab the bigger boost

What does it ... "boost" and how many people do I need?

Party fishing boosts the amount of exp and entropy you get every fish! The max amount of people you need for the full boost is only 4 people, but you have to be within a radius of 30 and all of you have to be fishing! Yes that means you can't just grab an alt and plop it nearby, it has to be actively fishing! Besides you can't have more than 2 alts anyway >~>

Whether you're looking to gamble or just straight up make bank, the scales and shop are the place to be!

What is scaling?

Scaling is an odds based perk in PyroFishing. To get to the menu you can use /Fish Menu or /Fish Scales. Once you put the fish in the GUI menu, you can choose between having your fish on the low scale or on the extreme scale. This would allow you to either get an increase or decrease of value on your weighed fish.

Don’t worry though, you can increase your chances on the scales with the Trophy Augment (found in /Fish Augments). The augment would boost your chances up to +14%!

What is the shop?

The shop is pretty simple and straightforward! To get to the menu you can use /Fish Shop. Then, gather some fish and sell it at the shop for tons of money! Of course each rarity sells for more money however. I personally recommend keeping your platinum and mythical fish as you can use them for your fishing totem or by selling it to other players for a higher price!

Prices:

  • Raw Fish (Cod, Salmon, Pufferfish): $5.00
  • Bronze Fish: $50.00
  • Silver Fish: $250.00
  • Gold Fish: $750.00
  • Diamond Fish: $2,000.00
  • Platinum Fish: $8,000.00
  • Mythical Fish: $20,000.00

Totems! Yes Totems! No not totems of undying, custom fishing totems! These give amazing buffs while fishing!

What are totems?

Totems are a multi-block you build in the world and activate for powerful buffs. It can range from things like 1.5x voidfishing experience to a chance to increase a fish you caught to a higher rarity! Want a platinum fish but caught a diamond? Well one ability has a 35% chance to turn that diamond into a platinum once you catch it!

How do I build a totem?

Well first you need to gather the necessary blocks first! For that you'll need one anvil. one green glazed terracotta, one orange glazed terracotta, one daylight detector, two observers and four spruce stairs! Once you have those just build it like the image on the right! Finally you'll need to activate the totem with your fishing rod to make it yours. Before you can do that you first need:

6 Platinum Fish

  • 16 Crab Claws
  • 16 Crab Scales
  • 16 Squid Tentacles
  • 16 Dolphin Tails

Then you just right click the bottom observer with your fishing rod and those in your inventory and bada bing bada boom, you got a totem!

Replica of Totem (Exact Built Structure)

Totem Upgrades

Once you have a totem just right click it to open a menu like the image on the right! You can then purchase upgrades for your totem either with fish or entropy depending on the upgrade!

Upgrades:

  • Totem Radius - Increases the radius your totem affects. Your totem will not affect others however increasing the radius allows for more convenience such as killing crabs that are further away or get knocked back. Costs Entropy.
  • Active Time - Totems only last for so long, upgrading this increases how long it will stay activated. Costs Entropy.
  • Cooldown Reduction - Once your totem active time reaches the end it has to cooldown for an hour. Upgrading this decreases the time it takes to cooldown. Costs Entropy.
  • Passive Slots - Unlike the other upgrades this costs fish! The first upgrade you can pay with either 7 platinum fish or 1 mythical fish. Every time you upgrade it the cost increases. So level 2 would be 2 mythical fish or 14 platinum fish and level 3 would be 3 mythical fish or 21 platinum fish.

Totem Passives

Once you have a totem built you can activate passives! Just select the passive you want to be active (click it again to de-select it) and then click the totem of undying at the bottom of the menu to activate your totem. Careful though because it only lasts for 5 minutes without upgrades and then it has to cooldown for an hour! You can also activate multiple passives as long as you have the slots for it!

Passives:

  • Experienced Fisherman|1 Passive Slot|Lvl 20 - This increases experienced gained from fishing by 1.5x while the totem is active
  • Little Critters | 2 Passive Slots | Lvl 40 - This increases the drop chance of crab goods whenever you kill a crab in the radius of your totem
  • Fish Schools | 3 Passive Slots | Lvl 40 - This increases hot spot chance of catching 2 fish by 35%!
  • Random Drops | 4 Passive Slots | Lvl 55 - This gives you a chance to get other fishing loot such as squid tentacles or dolphin tails from killing crabs
  • Treasure Hunter | 5 Passive Slots | Lvl 60 - This gives you a 1% chance of finding rare items while fishing
  • Mythical Waters | 5 Passive Slots | Lvl 60 - Whenever you catch a fish this has a 35% chance to upgrade it to a higher rarity
  • Entropy Hoarder | 6 Passive Slots | Lvl 60 - This increases entropy you get from fishing by 1.25x
  • Star Fall | 10 Passive Slots | Lvl 100 - Not currently added but it's supposed to give you a chance to find a strong fish you must find for good loot

Skyblock Starters Guide

Welcome to Skyfactory!. This gamemode features a variety of new plugins and options, allowing you to do much more with your island. Keep reading to learn how to start out!

Starting Out

To begin with a new island, simply type /island create. You can choose between Hard and Easy for a starter island.

Typically, you’d want to make a crafting table and slabs so that you can expand your island platform.

Tip: Light up your platform or use half-blocks to prevent mobs from spawning!

Cobble Gens

A very important structure in Skyfactory is a cobble generator, used to collect cobble. In skyfactory, various Slimefun machines are used to make a cobble gen; all are found in the Slimefun Guide, under "Basic Machines."

How do you get water and lava?

You will need:

  • A Slimefun Composter
  • A Slimefun Crucible
  • A Slimefun Compressor
  • A Slimefun Grind Stone
  • 2 Buckets
  • 528 (8 stacks and 16) Leaves

Tip: Break leaves using the enchanted shears given by completing quests

Lava:

  1. With the remaining 8 stacks of leaves, right-click the Composter with the leaves in your hand. Each click consumes 8 leaves and will yield 1 dirt. Altogether, you will get 64 dirt.
  2. Insert the 64 dirt into the Grind Stone. Right-click the oak fence and you should hear a clicking sound. Keep clicking until all 64 dirt have been turned into stone chunks.
  3. Transfer all of the stone chunks to the Compressor. Right-click the nether fence until all the stone chunks have been used. For every 4 stone chunks, you get 1 cobble. In total, you will yield 16 cobble.
  4. With 16 cobble in your hand, right-click the Crucible. Wait for a bit, and lava will start to appear on the top of the Crucible.
  5. When the lava reaches about a block tall, use a bucket to collect it.

Water:

  1. With 16 leaves in your hand, right-click the Crucible. Wait for a bit, and water will start to appear on the top of the Crucible.
  2. When the water reaches about a block tall, use a bucket to collect the water.

Tip: You have access to /is upgrade which will upgrade your cobble gen so that it spawns in new ore types and current ore types more commonly!

What is Tinkers?

  • Tinker tools allow you to level up tools and armor, and add modifiers to enhance them. Tinkers is a custom made addon to slimefun and can therefore be found in the Slimefun guide!
  • To create tinker tools, you will need a tinkers table to create and enhance your tools. The tinker table is an oak slab on top of a dispenser. Just put the recipe in there, click the slab, wait for a moment and collect your tool!
  • Once you use it, the xp bar of the tool starts rising, at max your tool will level up! Levelling up gives your tool a free modifier slot and a 20% chance to add a free modifier!
  • You can add modifiers by putting your tool in the first slot of the tinker table, the material in the second slot and then clicking the slab!
  • Want to know what modifiers you can add? Click the Tinkers Modifiers section of your slimefun guide.

Tip: Vote on all 8 sites and earn one vote key per site! /vote Redeem your keys at /warp Crates

Ranks (Karma)

Our ranks system is based off of Slimefun’s Karma. You get Karma by killing mobs; certain mobs give higher karma values.

You can CHOOSE between the positive and negative karma path. Whichever path you choose, your perks will be the same. Increasing your Karma will unlock important commands, such as /is settings or /is upgrade.

Check out /warp Karma for more information.

Tip: Make a natural mob farm to farm karma!

Shop

Using /shop is a great way of selling things to earn money or buying items that you need. Almost every vanilla item can be bought and sold here.

Tip: Find things you can farm and sell. Then you can earn a lot of money!

Entering Mid-Game

Now that you have an overview of Skyfactory's features, you are now ready to explore more of the game on your own. Use Slimefun, invite friends to your island, and race to the top. Good luck!

Barrels & Custom Chests

Did you ever want to know how to organize your storage more efficiently? This article will show you the possibilities to do so!

Barrels

Barrels are chests with custom recipes that allow you to store large quantities of one specific item. There are 5 different types of barrels available, with each tier being crafted with 2 of the previous lower tier and increasing the amount of items a barrel can hold.

  • Small Fluffy Barrel (128 Stacks, 8,192 Items)
  • Medium Fluffy Barrel (512 Stacks, 32,768 Items)
  • Big Fluffy Barrel (2,048 Stacks, 131,072 Items)
  • Large Fluffy Barrel (8,192 Stacks, 524,288 Items)
  • Massive Fluffy Barrel (32,768 Stacks, 2,097,152 Items)
  • Bottomless Barrel (27,000,000 Stacks / 1,728,000,000 Items)

The recipes of all barrels can be seen in the /sf guide in the category fluffy machines -> fluffy barrels and are crafted in an enhanced workbench or simple crafting table.

Barrels themselves can be accessed by the right 2 slots of their gui. In the 2 right slots you can place items to store them in the barrel, This also works with shift-clicking! The gui also provides additional information like which item is stored, the type of the barrel and the quantity of items currently in the barrel. You can also choose to trash items (the trash bin) & the quartz slab shows a hologram of what is inside the barrel & how much is inside.

Barrels also work with cargo, so they are the perfect solution to store items that you have automated!

Custom Chests

With custom chests there is the possibility to store a much larger amount of items in a single chest! There are now 5 types of ore chests (iron, gold, diamond, emerald, netherite), each single upgrade supplying you with an additional page to store items in. To craft one of these chests, you have to simply take the chest of a lower tier (standard chest for iron, iron chest for gold and so on) and surround it with 8 blocks of the material of the tier you want to craft it into! You can also find these recipes at /warp chests.

For switching forth and back between the pages of custom chests, you just have to click outside of the GUI of it. Right clicking will up the chest page by 1, while left clicking will lower the page by 1. Custom chests also work with cargo, so together with barrels they are a great way to create compact and efficient storage solutions!

Crafting Barrels/Chests

The highest tier of chest you can craft is dependent on your karma rank. With higher karma ranks you can craft better custom chests. The netherite chest is unlocked at immortal/eternal.

Types of Builder Wands and obtainability

At the moment there are 4 different tiers of builder wands that are all obtainable from different crates. Each tier is obtained from a different crate with a 1% chance, with the tier of the builder wand being higher in more expensive crates. The higher the tier of a builder wand is, the more uses and range it will have. The tier of a builder wand is also seen by the material it is made of, ranging from stone to diamond. These are the currently available builder wands:

  • Voters Builder Wand: Vote Crate, 50 Uses, 10 Range
  • Reinforced Builder Wand: Vote Crate, 100 Uses, 12 Range
  • Strengthened Builder Wand: Vote Crate, 200 Uses, 14 Range
  • Fortified Builder Wand: Vote Crate, 300 Uses, 16 Range

Usage of Builder Wands

To use builder wands, you need to right click one of the sides of a block with it. The wand will then build the amount of blocks it should place on the side you clicked on and consume 1 use. It will always use the material of the block clicked on to build. If you don't have sufficient materials in your inventory, it will place the remaining blocks down and then tell you it doesn’t have enough of a certain block, so make sure you always have sufficient resources when building with them!

Cobble, Nether & End Generators

A ... cobblestone generator article? Yep! Skyfactory has custom generators designed to help progress as well obtain various blocks and resources. This article will teach you how to make those as well as the rates of resources, price of upgrades and finally how many levels there are!

Cobblestone Generator

Let's cover all our bases! In order to make a cobblestone generator you'll need some water and lava just like normal. Incase you aren't aware, water flows faster than lava in the overworld so in order to avoid your lava being turned into cobble or obsidian, you'll need to make a hole beneath the flowing water (NOT THE SOURCE BLOCK) so it does not flow any further. This means lava will flow forward and once it does it will generate a block! In the picture to the left you can see one of my favorite generator designs as this lets you break two blocks at once and allows two players to use the generator with only one lava source. Can also be expanded to 4 players!

Cobblestone Generator Rates

Nether Generator

Nether Generator! You have to make this in your nether using blue ice, soul soil, and lava. This time you don't have to worry about a hole, just put blue ice down with lava running into it & a soul soil down in-between to generate the various resources you can get from the nether. Just like the overworld, this generator has it own set of upgrades as well as it's own resources you can find such as quartz or even ancient debris!

If you try to pair this up with a harvester just remember that harvesters have to be chunk loaded to continue working, so if you're not in your nether dimension your harvester will not collect goods.

Nether Generator Rates

End Generator

Just like with the overworld generator you just make a normal cobblestone generator! Remember to keep that hole beneath the flowing water else your lava will not be happy and neither would you be I'm guessing.

This generator needs to be built in your end dimension (You can find the end portal in your nether once you expand your island border once!) and just like the nether generator it has various resources that you can't find in the other generators!

End Generator Rates

Karma is a crucial part of the game, as it grants different permissions and features. In this guide we are going to talk about how to obtain karma, karma ranks and what features it has.

How to obtain Karma

Karma crystals drop from their respective mobs with a low percent chance. They can only be obtained by player kills. Each mob only has a chance to drop a karma crystal, a small one and then a larger one at a lower chance.

Karma crystals can be used by shift-right clicking while holding the crystals. There are 2 different types of karma. Positive Karma is displayed as nether stars, while negative karma is displayed as dragon eggs. The different paths of karma only have cosmetical differences (the color). On death, you will lose 5% of your current karma towards 0

Karma Ranks

In the picture below, the respective karma ranks can be seen.

Unlocking higher karma ranks allows you to use certain commands and features. On Skyfactory this includes several useful /island commands such as /is biome, the ability to stack certain mineral blocks for island level and most importantly, /is fly. All the permissions and features unlocked by karma ranks can be seen at /warp karma (Skyfactory). Karma is not lost on player vs player kills.

Crafting Recipes with Karma

Positive and negative karma crystals can be transformed into each other using the enhanced crafting table and purification powder / corruption powder. Purification powder is made out of 8 bones in an o shape in a magic workbench, and can transform a negative crystal into a positive one if put in a plus shape around a negative crystal as displayed below.

Corruption powder is made out of 8 rotten flesh and does the same from positive to negative. Karma crystals can be combined using the Magic workbench (1 > 9 > 81 > 729)

Immortal / Eternal Rank

The immortal & Eternal ranks are the most prestigeous karma ranks on the whole server. To obtain it, you will have to obtain 10 million positive or negative karma. At the moment, it only grants small perks like changing your island biome to the nether, more minion slots, or stacking netherite blocks. More features will be added to it soon though! It also comes with a cool tag, which you can show off to other players.

Liquid Tanks

Liquid tanks let you store various liquids in a custom hopper. This lets you do cool things like transfer liquids across a distance for various uses such as feeding yourself, fueling your furnaces or even cure yourself of all effects! Liquid tanks even work with redstone for better control of your hopper systems to control where liquid flows to. You can even put a chest above them with the liquid to fill up the tanks! So if you put a chest of water buckets above a liquid tank it will fill up the tank with water and empty the buckets!

Making A Liquid Tank

Well how do you make these amazing contraptions? It's actually a pretty simple recipe and you can also find them in crates! As you can see by the image below all you need is 7 Glass, 1 Hopper and 1 Redstone Comparator. You can just craft this in the crafting table like normal! But how do you get each individual type of tank? Just fill it with the liquid of choice and it automatically becomes that type of tank (Until it's empty again). Read on to learn more about each invidual type!

Water Tank

This tank, as you can probably guess, stores water! It can store up to 10 buckets of water and even works as a "fluid pump" of sorts where it sucks source blocks above it into itself. This lets you create an infinite source above the tank in which the tank will fill itself up. (As seen in the picture below)

If you stand under it while on fire and then provide it a redstone signal it will extingiush the fire (consuming some water in the process) as if you were standing in water. You can point it into other hoppers for a system that holds even more water than just 10 buckets at a time and to move your water around! Check out the image below to see an example!

Lava Tank

This is probably one of the tanks you will use the most. Not only does it allow you to store up to 10 buckets of lava; you can use it to fuel your furnaces! A lava tank can fill itself up using source blocks above it or alternatively you can put a magma cube above it. As they hop around they'll fill up the lava tanks, the biggest one filling a 2x2 by itself! Magma cubes will also never die so feel free to name tag them so they don't despawn!

Magma cubes filling up lava tanks

Furnace being fueled by lava tank; in a normal furnace it would take up a third of a bucket and smelt 33 items, also redstone toggleable

EXP Tank

Needed a way to store your experience so you don't lose it when you die or just for later use? Look no further! These tanks will store up to 30 levels. If you want to get your exp back just stand below them and activate them with a redstone signal.

Rabbit Stew & Beetroot Soup Tanks

These can each hold 16 bowls of soup/stew. If you've automated making the soup/stew you can use the before mentioned method of putting a chest above it with the soup/stew to fill it up. If you stand below these tanks and activate them with redstone it will give you saturation and consume 1 bowl! Helpful if you hate dragging food around with you in your inventory.

Milk & Mushroom Stew Tanks

Just like with the rabbit stew and beetroot soup tanks the mushroom stew tank can only hold 16 bowls. It will also feed you if you stand under it and activate it how, however you can fill it simply by keeping a mushroom above your tank! With the milk tank you can only hold 10 buckets of milk however this also can be filled by simply putting a cow above the tank. If you stand under this tank and activate it it will negate all your current effects just like drinking a bucket of milk would!

Dragon Breath Tank

Last but not least (well .. maybe least) we have the dragonbreath tank. As far as I know this tank doesn't really do much but it's a handy way to store all your bottles of dragonbreath I suppose. Plus it looks pretty! This tank stores up to 30 bottles of dragonbreath at a time.

Introduction to Mob Grinders

You most likely have heard about mob grinders before, but what are they exactly? This intro will give you a quick rundown on everything you need to know before you start!

Mob Grinders

Mob grinders are mechanisms that allow you use the vanilla spawning system of Minecraft to your advantage, and obtain loot from naturally spawning mobs of the dark, as well as reap experience, karma, and tinker levels, mob grinders are especially vital to most if not all Skyfactory playthroughs, and are essential to your progression.

How they work, is usually making mobs naturally spawn in a dark room, with traps, redstone, or baits laid around to allow an easier time killing the mobs that have spawned, such as signs, pistons, trip wire hooks, etc.

People often get creative in the making of a mob grinder so the possibilities are infinite.

One very important rule to keep in mind at all times when making a grinder, is the fact that mobs only spawn at the light level of 0, and several mobs have conditions on spawning, for example biome and space, which we will go over later on in the article.

You can check the current light level of the block you are standing on, by pressing F3 (Java only), and looking to the left, under "Client light", where it details what the light level is, and if the light source is the sky or a block.

Another rule you need to keep in mind, mobs do not spawn when they are in a 24 block radius of the player.

Mob grinders consist of several major components:

  • Dark room
  • Canal
  • Killzone

Dark room

Just as the name implies, it's simple a dark enclosed room that allows mobs to spawn in freely, it often contains contraptions that group the mobs up to drop them either into a canal or directly to the killzone.

Canal

The canal is the pathway that moves mobs to a desired location, usually to the killzone, Canals usually use flowing water to push mobs, however some other methods include pistons or lava instead.

Water is your best bet though, you really only want to use other methods when water is not an option (For example, blazes die to water)

Killzone

This is where you will spend the majority of your time after building the grinder, you'll hang out down here, smacking mobs at their ankles, mobs are often dropped into the killzone just enough to take some damage, but not enough to kill them, just enough to keep them alive for you to deal the final blow.

Killzones often have hoppers with slabs on top to collect all the mob drops, and leave them all in a chest.

Dark Room

Dark Room

A dark room is the simplest most primitive way of farming mobs, it's extremely cheap and basic, if anything it's a core component of all grinders in the first place, its simplistic flexibility allows very creative ways of farming mobs, from the brute vanilla way of simply walking in and fighting, to smacking mobs at their feet.

Let's Keep It Simple

If you just made your first cobble generator, and don't have that much materials to work with, you might wanna start off by just making a pla cube, with a complete light level of 0, and no openings whatsoever, not even doors or slabs, since they also allow light to go through.

Your best bet is to create a block obstacle to break/replace every time you feel like a little carnage.

On Second Thought

You could make things easier for yourself, by adding a hole in the center, and 4 dispensers with a bucket of water on each corner, and hook em up to a button!

So whenever you want mobs killed, you simply press a button, and they will be cast away into the drop pit, and you know what to do from there.

If pressing a button is too much of a hassle, you could always hook up a redstone clock to do it for you instead, as stated previously, the possibilities are endless.

Fishing With Mobs

Mobs have very predictable AIs, for example zombies walk towards villagers, skeletons run away from wolves, as well as creepers from cats, while spiders.. just do spider things.

You could design a smart room with plenty of baits, traps, and pitfalls for mobs to wander and fall into their killzone, for you to farm with your legs crossed comfortably.

Wait A Minute

Yes, you are right, this is pretty much just any other mob grinder, because it really just is, all mob grinders are dark rooms with traps leading onto killzones for you to farm, that is why you can find more detailed guides on making some of the more prominent types such as The Block, The Observer Tower

The Block

The block is the standard, go to grinder to make when you start off, it's cheap, simple, and easy to make.

It is however, slower than several grinder alternatives that exist out there, it is also a little hard to conceal, make look pretty, or upgrade.

Kill Zone

First, you want to make your killzone, you can tamper with this as much as you want really, the basics are simple:

  1. Place a chest
  2. Put some hoppers leading into it
  3. Slabs on top of the hoppers
  4. Block off the region above the slabs as displayed in the image to the right

Make sure you place this in a desirable place, with plenty of space above it, or else it might collide with other builds or structures you have around.

It may be a good idea to hook this up to a cargo network, or Networks, or even more chests, to make sure you don't run out of space.

Drop Tube

Once that's done, you wanna make a long "tube" upwards.

The tube's job is to drop the mobs to a certain hp before being killed, make sure the mobs to drop anywhere less than 23 blocks (22 to keep them on half a heart), Do keep in mind though that spiders have 16 hp, meaning they need to fall only 18 blocks to stay on half a heart.

It’s usually better if you allow them to survive with one heart instead, since sometimes water causes the mobs to bounce and fall an extra block , occasionally killing them if they drop at half a heart.

This step is not necessary, however it is better since mobs can only spawn at a certain distance away from the player. (24 blocks)

Canal

Then, you need to make a canal, it is 9 blocks tall to the side, and is 2 blocks high, with water flowing from one end into the center, as displayed in the image.

Mobs are fine with dropping into water as long as they don't take damage, therefore signs/trapdoors are in fact not necessary, but that's up to you to place down.

You want to repeat this step on all 4 sides, so you would have a plus sign shape

Dark Room

Finally, you want to make the dark room, which is simply just filling the gaps between each canal in a square shape, then adding walls and a roof, things to make sure of:

  1. The walls are adjacent to where the water source is
  2. The roof is high enough for 2 blocks of space
  3. the room is completely dark and has no light at all

That's it!

Congratulations! You have made yourself a block mob grinder, wait at the bottom and soon enough mobs will start dropping down to the killzone, killing them should be easy considering they took quite a hefty amount of fall damage.

It is advised to use swords instead of axes as they deal aoe damage, especially with the sweeping edge enchant, as it will allow mobs to die much faster.

Observer Tower

Put simply, observer towers are a tower of layering dark rooms, with dispensers and observers rhythmically place water to push mobs aside into a collection area, down the drain into the killzone, allowing you to swing freely at their feet for some sweet loot.

The materials to making this is simple, many building blocks, observers, dispensers and water buckets, alongside serious dedication, as this might be a hassle to make, but will be worth your time.

Toilet?

To start off, you need to make a killzone, with a collection area right above it, if the killzone is 1x1 or 3x3, you may want to make the collection area 21x21 to keep it simple, make sure you don't have any spiders if you decide to make it 1x1, whereas if the hole is 2x2, you can make the collection area 20x20 (Does not include the borders)

Use signs in the center to prevent the water from entering the hole, and make sure the blocks above the hole is dry, since mobs tend to float instead of fall.

Make sure to only use 4 water source blocks in every corner, and procedurally make the water extend itself by falling, this prevents infinite water sources from being created, as well as backwards water flow.

Redstone clock

Then, you want to make a platform at least 4 blocks above the water, to prevent mobs from colliding with it, and setup a redstone clock.

Any clock works, a good one to use though is the hopper clock, as it allows you to fine tune how long each cycle lasts, by increasing how many items are inside the hopper.

To make a hopper clock, make 2 hoppers face each other, with a comparator coming out from each into a block, with redstone next to that block, and 2 sticky pistons fighting over a redstone block between them, for more details you can check out Advanced Grinders

Once that's done, you want to place an observer on top of the redstone block, if you are using any other clock, you want to place the observer above any block that updates every cycle.

Place an empty dispenser on the observer and that's all you have to do here for now.

Stacking Pancakes!

Now, you want to make a platform around that observer, one block beneath the dispenser, making the dispenser stick out by one block in the middle, make the platform an 8 block radius into every direction, a good way to know if you are doing it right, is by placing water on top of the dispenser, and making sure no water falls off the platform, while also making sure not a single block is dry.

Once you're done, place a block on the dispenser, with an observer facing it, and another dispenser on top, as shown in the image.

Remove the block below, and place a bucket of water in the dispenser, and repeat this step! You can do this as many times as you want, since mobs can spawn as long as the chunk is loaded, and all of them will drop into the collection area.

Roof for Pancakes?

Once you reach a desirable height, you need to make a similar platform to the last step, without a dispenser in the center, then add an extra 15 blocks to each side, in other words you want to make a 45x45 diamond shaped platform above the tower, this is necessary to prevent light from getting into any block on the platform, you can make it bigger, but the minimum is 45x45.

You can remove the water afterwards!

You may also want to prevent mobs from spawning on the roof, so a handy tip is to place a water source on the center, and add torches on each end of the water source one block extra, this will make sure every single block on the roof has a light level greater than 0, while still making it organized.

Almost Forgot

Remember the dispenser that we put above the redstone clock? To activate the grinder, all you have to do is make sure the clock is still active, and place a water bucket in there, now the dispenser/observer train will activate and de-activate with each loop, and mobs will be pushed aside with the water, allowing for mobs to respawn in their place once the water is removed again.

You can easily expand this by making more pillars, leading to the same collection area instead of the killzone, by making water slides that direct them into a killzone.

That's All

This sums up the guide for the observer tower, congratulations!

You can wait near the killzone for mobs to collect, and start killing them, make sure you have enough storage space to collect the loot as there is a hefty amount of loot to obtain.

Flexibility

Now, in the end of the day we are playing Minecraft, which allows endless amounts of possibilities for any problem you might experience, this guide will hopefully provide you with several tips and points that will help you improve your grinder and give you desirable results.

Control

One of the first things you might want to improve in your grinder, is being able to control what mobs spawn and what mobs don't spawn, here's a few tips to remember:

  • Spiders need a 3x1x3 flat area to allow them to spawn, therefore if you follow the pattern to the right with trapdoors, you'll be able to completely block spiders from spawning in your grinders.

  • You can cover the roof with trap doors as well to prevent any mobs from spawning that are taller than 1.8 blocks, meaning only spiders and creepers will spawn now, you can mix this point with the previous point and make it so that only creepers spawn.

  • Alternatively, if you're in the nether, you can use blocks that only allow a certain mob to spawn on top of them, for example magma blocks only allow zombie pigmen, ghasts, and magma cubes to spawn on top of them, however if you only allow a 2 block gap above them, then it prevents ghasts and magma cubes from spawning, and only pigmen.

  • Similarly, wither skeletons are the only mob that can spawn on wither roses for being immune to the wither status effect, you can use this to your advantage if you cannot afford a wither skeleton spawner.

You can obtain wither roses by allowing a wither to kill a mob.

Baits

As mentioned previously, some mobs are naturally aggressive towards certain other mobs/blocks, which you can use to lead the mobs into a drop and trap them for killing:

  • Iron golems attack most hostile mobs.
  • Zombies attack Villagers.
  • Illagers (Evoker, Pillager, Ravager, Vindicator) attack Villagers.
  • Endermen attack Endermites.
  • Piglins AND Wither skeletons chase each other to kill each other.
  • Wither skeletons attack baby turtles, iron golems, snow golems, piglins, and piglin brutes.
  • Zombie variants and blazes attack turtle eggs.
  • Undead mobs (Except zombie horses and skeleton horses) attack baby turtles.
