Climb from level 1 to 50 at a Void Terminal. Every level gives you more claim chunks, and along the way you unlock extra claims, homes, claim members, /craft, /hat, /nightvision and finally flying.

The Void Terminal

• Crafting: obsidian in the four corners, amethyst shards on the four sides, an ender pearl in the middle. The recipe is in your recipe book.
• Place it and right-click it (not sneaking) to open the rank menu.
• Breaking it gives it back. Pistons and explosions cannot move or destroy it.

The Void Altar (from level 21)

From level 21 the terminal must stand in a Void Altar:

• a 3x3 floor of crying obsidian under the terminal (the terminal stands on the middle block);
• on each of the four corners of that floor, two obsidian stacked, with a soul lantern on top.

What a level costs

• Every level costs Void Shards and needs play time: 2 hours per level in total (level 10 needs 20 hours played).
• Higher levels also need blocks mined and mobs killed, counted from your normal Minecraft statistics.
• Some levels need items, which are taken when you rank up, or an advancement.
• /rank shows your level and what the next one needs, without ranking up.

If something is missing, nothing is taken.

Tiers

When you reach a new tier, the whole server hears about it.

Milestones

Shards are the cost of that level only. Play time, blocks and mobs are totals. Levels in between follow the same curve.

Rewards

• Every level: 2 extra claim chunks in total, and every 2 levels 1 more chunk per claim.
• Every 10 levels: 1 extra claim, 1 extra claim member and 1 extra home.
• Level 10: /craft, a crafting table anywhere.
• Level 20: /hat, wear the block in your hand.
• Level 35: /nightvision.
• Level 45: flying on fuel in your own claims.
• Level 50: flying on fuel everywhere except other players' claims.
